In fact, I had pictured this movie being about a man who loved watching cats dance, and I didn't make sense of the title until I started watching the movie. I came out of it pleasantly surprised. It was very different from other movies I'd seen. I don't think I've ever seen a "true" western like this before. Hope you enjoy the reaction!

Josie Wales is a great one, Hang 'Em High and High Plains Drifter also good. But nothing comes close to Unforgiven IMO, pretty rare when a western wins Best Picture. Hope Cassie eventually gets to that one.

The guy who played her husband did comedy, and Burt Reynolds had many hits, most notably The Smokey and the Bandit. Both the sheriff and the rapist were in 12 Angry Men (1957). (Don’t let the year fool you. It’s #5 on the top rated films of all time.) For other westerns, check-out Silverado (1985, fun) and Unforgiven (1992, somber).
