Apollo 13 is top tier. But she would have to do Castaway before that for sure.

2021-04-28 18:28:12 +0000 UTCI think you would enjoy Apollo 13. A great movie for reactions that hasn't really been done.

2021-04-22 00:43:32 +0000 UTCCassie should also check out, "The Time Traveller's Wife". Such great movie. Rips my soul every time. Rachael McAdams at her best.

2021-04-20 14:37:19 +0000 UTCTerms of Endearment. I'm a dude and that one breaks every time. Such a classic familial love story and with some heavy named actors.

2021-04-20 14:35:58 +0000 UTCI agree, it probably would never win for the same reason you mention. It is sort of a one-of-a-kind movie, not many similar out there that I have seen anyway. I do seem to remember Cassie expressing some interest in it somewhere on the boards though, so I hope she gets to see it at some point even if it doesn’t get selected as an official reaction.

2021-04-19 02:44:12 +0000 UTCEternal Sunshine has been on a couple polls. I’m doubtful it would ever win bc that movie hits ppl differently depending on whether or not you agree w/the premise which then determines how invested you are in the characters. I do think she should see it bc it is thought-provoking and can generate interesting debate. Obv imo.

2021-04-18 22:50:26 +0000 UTCWell, that explains it. I appreciate you setting me straight. I feel like the "typical" guy that won't read instructions. At least the movies I listed are older ones she may not have seen yet.

2021-04-18 16:17:59 +0000 UTCHey! She used to watch mainly romance and nothing older than the current year. Her husband told her she was missing out on some amazing movies, thus her YT channel was borne. She’s mentioned it in earlier videos, and it’s on her About tab. I’m not against romance movies, just explaining why there aren’t polls for them.

2021-04-18 14:19:34 +0000 UTCCheers Cassie! I’ve heard you say a number of times that love stories/romance are your favorites and I’ve gone through the posts and haven’t seen many suggestions in that category. So, I tossed together a list of movies I’ve seen that I believe fit. It’s a bit long even after cutting it down, but since it’s your favorite category I’m guessing you will have probably seen at least a few of them. The Notebook (2004) Sleepless in Seattle (1993) Larry Crowne (2011) Starman (1984) Say Anything (1989) Meet Joe Black (1998) External Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004) A Walk to Remember (2002) Keith (2008) A Knight’s Tale (2001) It Could Happen to You (1994)

2021-04-16 03:30:21 +0000 UTCHello! Really liking the war movie reactions! I highly recommend Lone Survivor and 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi. Two of my favorite war movies, both intense and do a very good job in telling the story of the real men involved and who lost their lives.

2021-04-15 06:38:18 +0000 UTCJacob, you’re right. There are so many ... I almost threw in Das Boot as well. And, Matthew, definitely. Schindler’s should be at the top of the list.

2021-04-12 16:07:42 +0000 UTCSchindler’s List is easily one of the most beautiful, heart breaking films to come out of Hollywood over the last few decades. Highly recommend!
2021-04-12 15:52:24 +0000 UTCBe Kind and Jake, excellent suggestions!

2021-04-12 14:39:39 +0000 UTCThough one would think The Pacific and Flags Of Our Fathers should be watched in conjunction with Letters From Iwo Jima. 🤔🤔

2021-04-12 12:48:52 +0000 UTCOnly the 1st three and Schindler’s are war movies. But you could add: Apocalypse Now (Vietnam) Platoon (Vietnam) Bridge on the River Kwai (British POW WWII) Letters From Iwo Jima (Japanese POV WWII) Das Boot (German POV WWII) Three Kings (Desert Storm) Troy (Trojan War) 300 (Persian War) *Decided to throw-in a couple more.

2021-04-12 06:17:17 +0000 UTCThank you for these suggestions, the only one I have seen from your list is American Sniper, I SOBBED, like bawled in the theatre. I love this for a war movie poll.
Cassie
2021-04-12 05:45:07 +0000 UTCHey Cassie, A few movies I recommend you put on your list: We Were Soldiers Lone Survivor American Sniper Training Day Patriots Day Only the Brave Sicario Sicario: Day of the Soldato Schindlers List (Highly recommended after you watch Episode 9 of BoB)

2021-04-11 15:56:32 +0000 UTCyes! i keep wanting that one to win
Cassie
2021-04-11 06:25:54 +0000 UTCYeah sorry I had it still pinned! Thanks for the heads up!
Cassie
2021-04-10 19:38:53 +0000 UTCIs there an old poll 'pinned' to the top of everyone else's version of this page? If so, I thought I'd mention it in case Cassie was unaware and wanted to update it/remove the pin.

2021-04-10 15:16:34 +0000 UTCPut Eternal Sunshine back up. The votes for all the reactions seem to be the same across the board with others. It would be great to see different movies on reaction channels.
2021-04-10 08:59:35 +0000 UTCThanks so much for the update! Sounds good. For the next poll, how about thrillers? Disturbia (2007) The Firm (1993) No Way Out (1987) Panic Room (2002) Stir of Echoes (1999) Taken (2008)
