2021-04-01 04:52:00 +0000 UTCI am with Christian, Raiders is one of my top ten fav movies of all time. It is the quintessential action-adventure movie, made by Steven Spielberg because he wanted to direct a "B" movie, only to create a movie that's truly ageless. It's almost 40 years old and yet it's *still* great even now. I remember finding this as a little kid and falling in love with the story, the world, and the soundtrack! This movie was the beginning of my lifelong love for John Williams. Give me a few notes into a bar and I will pick a John Williams Tune from a mile away :D I really hope you get a chance to watch this!

2021-03-25 15:08:11 +0000 UTCIndians Jones top pick for sure. Some considered it one of the “perfect” movies. I would choose Last of the Mohicans over Dances With Wolves. Matrix is of course a strong pick. It would be apt to start that series since the 4th installment is coming out this year. Blade Runner would be great with its sequel too. Apocalypse Now can wait since you have been watching Band of Brothers. Seeing “The Greatest Generation” fight in WWII is deflated a bit if you watch it so close to the greatest betrayal of children fighting in Vietnam. Live Die Repeat is ok but I think you should watch Top Gun for a better Cruise movie and since its sequel is coming out soon too. Live Die Repeat goes with the Sci-Cruise genre with Oblivion & War of the Worlds, & Minority Report.
