2021-07-12 15:59:03 +0000 UTCThis film is quite famous because practically every watcher was totally taken by surprise by the twist. It launched Shyamalan’s career as the “twist” guy. You’ve already seen signs. One more of his that I thought was really good was Unbreakable, also with Bruce Willis. I believe it was the director’s second one after this debut. In my opinion, The Village and Lady in the Water were pretty weak and perfectly missable.

You're MADE for reactions, because you seem really nice and empathetic, and it naturally lends a certain weight to films like this, Green Mile, and Shawshank. In that DVD order was also a copy of The Sixth Sense... well, guess that meant this membership was meant to be, and I had to stop dragging my heels and become a patron :) Thanks for sharing these reactions with us.
