Our daily routine during the week was to stop studying at 11:30 pm and put Letterman on the TV. Characters that Chris Eliot played on Letterman included "The Conspiracy Guy," "The Panicky Guy," "The Guy Under the Seats," "The Fugitive Guy," "The Laid Back Guy," and a few others.

2022-08-20 06:32:23 +0000 UTCGreat flick ... one I consider to be a "new" movie as it was made after 1975. I can hardly wait to watch It's A Wonderful Life, The Apartment, and The Quiet Man. It's just my opinion but movies like Saving Pvt Ryan or Schindler's List are excellent but slightly too intense for watching with Cassie. Romance/comedy is probably the best genre here.

It stars Jonathan Silverman ("Weekend at Bernie's") and Helen Slater ("Supergirl" 1984). I guess you could categorize it as a sci-fi, comedy love story.

2021-08-17 01:29:28 +0000 UTCGROUNDHOG DAY's same day over and over plot established a sub-genre of movies that utilize the same basic story structure. EDGE OF TOMORROW, BEFORE I FALL, SOURCE CODE, and HAPPY DEATH DAY and its sequel have featured this entertaining plot dynamic to various degrees.
