Correct, the events of 2022 occurred first then the events of 2016 (episodes 1 -4) occurred second and the ending of this episode is just Takopi returning that "alternate" timeline after the point where Shizuka was about to 187 Takopi with a rock. Also consider that Shizuka was locked in on finding Chappy and not really meeting her dad. So even though her dad was pretending to not know her that alone didn't phase her one bit. It was the fact that Chappy wasn't at her dad's place like her mom told her. That is what really flipped her switch. This is why she was going 187 on Takopi because she REALLY wants to find Chappy and he wasn't helping her. It's why she started considering cutting open the stomachs of her dad's kids because she thought they might of eaten Chappy. Truth be told Chappy is all she has/had in the world in terms of something that makes her feel loved.
