Angstrom is a sad story. His mind is fragmented due to the unfinished transfer of consciousness from all the other Angstroms he found and himself. He has hundreds of lives stuffed into his head, but the inability to differentiate any of them from his own. Add to that, the fact that Mark is a bad guy in most of the other dimensions has skewed his sense of our Mark's reality.
Then, there's Mark. That beatdown he put on Angstrom has strong similarities to the s1 finale when Nolan did the same to him, only, Nolan couldn't bring himself to finish Mark off. Obviously, 2 very different situations. Mark is Nolan's son, so it would be way more difficult for him to "finish the job." Meanwhile, Mark lost it against a guy who threatened and hurt his family, so it's incredibly understandable why he lost it. At the same time, it shows that Mark is more like Nolan than he cares to admit. He's literally at war with the 2 sides of himself, not unlike his father.
Gotta love Allen. Just such a good, goofy dude. I love that he called Omni-Man, Nolan instead of, well, Omni-Man

I rewatched the first season with you, and the ending is super intense. One interesting change from the comics is that they didnβt reveal right away that Omni-Man killed the Guardians. In the show, they throw it in your face from the start to hook people in. But the second season i watched it through your reactions and it was amazing seeing the state Omni left the world in and how the characters grew. Iβm so hyped for season 3 to see if Mark and Eve are finally gonna happen π
