Summertime Rendering. It's a horror anime. The kind that usually scares me in live actions (and I live on horror movies) so this is quite the good one. It's not an isekai. But our modern world on an isolated island (isolated from the mainland) where something really paranormal lives hidden from the world but in plain sight (it's worse than any existing alien-invading-society plot). Look up the cover and you see a cute blonde girl in swimsuit but it's definitely a mystery/horror anime. No slice of life. And the MC has the same issues Subaru from Re: Zero has, except so far, Subaru seems endless. But for this MC, he has limited uses of how many times he can go back in time. So he definitely has it worse than Subaru. And no, these are simple normal humans Vs a true horrific paranormal entity.

Story drags too long (due to the fillers, so she would need to skip a lot?) and sadly incomplete, i recently rewatched the anime this year. It honestly needs a remake or a revival. Same with Eyeshield 21. Otherwise I would have had your back 100% @Byakuran (still do by giving your post a ❤️). I still hope they do. If bleach came back after 10 years, then why not other animes? Hitman Reborn merchandise is still being sold and re-made. I always wanted the Megahouse version. I have the Pop Up version. They recently revived the Megahouse one.
