Backgrounds & Stuff!

Heyo! I've pixeled a few more backgrounds for Gooey Ghoulies and done lotsa writing for the dialogue intros for levels and overarching story! Both take a ton of time since they're not exactly my field of expertise but I hope they're charming enough :>

Sorry the progress has been slow, things are always very busy. I've been doing 60 sec gesture drawings again every day for art study, unfortunately sketches like that arent really worth sharing. We're working toward another game build but there's alotta story to write and metrics to work out and it takes me alotta time. I feel quite guilty not having much to share on a regular basis as an artist but I hope the game ends up being enjoyable!

Hopefully in a couple weeks I'll have more to share! I'll be figuring out the last handful of ghosts for the final build and if some will be cameos from other artists, and I'll be doing lots more writing which you'll be able to read in-game. I'll be on vacation from nursing in a little over a week for a few days but I'll keep sketchin and working on stuff when I have time, I haven't had any time off nursing in a long time now so it should be nice :>
The next few days I'll be focused on Patron sketches and at some point I'd like to complete a 3D Character Sculpt commission but I'm not really open for comms currently.

Another thing I'd like to note is I've been experimenting with SmackStudio, it's an animation application and a Smash Bros game clone. It uses an algorithm to assume depth and manipulates pixelart with bones like a 3D model. I see alotta potential but haven't had much luck yet. I'll be sure to post some art with it if I can get desired results!

Thank you for everything! I hope ya enjoy the little animated gif I included, I've been obsessed with pikmin lately and needed to create somethin silly and fun one day. Maybe someday I'll have more time for silly lil pixel animations again!! THANK YOU and stay tuned!
