Progress on Gooey Ghoulies!
Added 2023-05-15 20:40:23 +0000 UTCHeyo! Fluffy and I are progressing slowly with the game and are sharing the Trello board to show progress! Take a look and you can see which tasks are up next, in-progress, and completed.

I read every message and comment about the game and take everything into consideration to improve the game as much as possible. The titlescreen buttons were finicky due to the clickable area being the sprite, that's fixed! We are also considering ways to make the "enemy" halos less irritating by adding things like a Necromancer Ghoulie to revive them before they exit the screen. I'd also like to change how halos function.
The Necromancer Ghoulie functions but currently just uses placeholder graphics, the design sketch and animations will be worked on soon. The succ plant has also been added as a special stationary ghoulie that is only submissive. My ghoulified sona Boostard and the Tiger(Sebastian from Fur-Rumble) ghoulies will also be added soon since their animations are complete. Standard behavior ghoulies such as Boostard & Tiger are simple to add but Ecto production metrics and output will need lots of tweaking and testing to tune correctly.
As always feel free to share your opinions and ideas oh how to further improve the game's design! Fluffy does 99% of the programming and I just do the graphics and design, it's very enjoyable working together :3
UPDATING THE GAMEPLAY UI
We're considering updating the gameplay menus to add ghost powerup items. The player may drag & drop powerups onto the desired ghost for different types of bonuses. Our ideas are either a color outline with a custom Unity shader or an small sprite powerup icon but the latter may make the game too visually noisy. Here's a sketch idea for it and a couple example animations-



3D Vtube/VRChat avatar for streaming!
I've spent the last 4 days grinding 3D modeling work to make a fitting low poly avatar to use for streaming! It has always been tough to maintain any kinda stream schedule but I'll keep trying and hopefully get the model finalized soon, it just has 1 more weird rigging issue to solve-
