Hey folks,
It's time for a new game progress report.
Disclaimer: I'm posting these to be transparent on game development and show progress done. However, it goes without saying that some of the stuff you see here may be considered to be spoilers. Although I do my best to keep the big narrative points out (and believe me, there is a lot I would like to show, but that I'm leaving out for you to find and experience in game).
Last month I resumed game dev with a lot work on the squeal little piggy (femboy/femdom game). Work on 3072 will resume this month (January) so you can expect to see game progress reports on that coming soon.
But for this one, it's all Squeal little piggy (the Femboy game).
Important note:
This year, I'm going to re-arrange how I schedule my work to make sure the time I dedicate to game development is more "steady" going forward. The "two image sets" per month rythme I had these past two years just took a lot of game dev time away and applied a lot of stress and anxiety on me. Which is why I had to take a break from the 3072AD last month after realeasing the latest patch.
I will explain this more in detail in a separate post, but for those of you who like my game content, this basically means that game development should be more steady this coming year. Thus, content should progress at a better pace (both with Squeal little piggy and and 3072 AD).
With that said, on to the progress report.

- New image assets for character: Megumi -
As the story progresses, I'm now at a point of introducing a new important character for the introduction chapter of squeal little piggy: Megumi.
This character was hinted at on the last squeal little piggy report, which talked about the new character creator.
New image assets for a "kinky live stream" scene have been added.
Here are a few samples:
- New phone interaction system: Live stream -
A new phone feature integrated with the "message app" feature is the "live stream" system.
In short, it's exactly what it sounds like. Some of the key characters can now request a live stream session with the player, which the player can accept or deny.
In some cases, she may request an upfront payment to begin the stream.

- Improved affinity UI and systems -
As those who follow this project may already know, this dating simulator offers two ways to "progress" your relationship with characters.
"Greed" is the findom angle.
"Affinity" defines how they actually like you as a "pet".
While paying tributes is an easy way to increase affinity, it will come at the price of less funds and increasing the domina's greed.
So there are other means to improve your status towards a domme that doesn't require findom. (Giving a path to those who aren't into findoming). So you have choices on how to approach them, which will lead to different possible outcomes.
To that end, the affinity system has seen some improvements.
First, if you do or say something that the gal likes or dislikes, you will have a quick pop-up to show you that. So the player is informed on whether or not a certain decision has improved or reduced affinity with the character.
If you played tell tale games, or other RPGs with companions, you are familiar with such a system.
Secondly, while you can check your affinity status with a character on the "contact" section of the phone, I wanted to add a clear visual and audio indicator when the affinity "rank" with a character levels up.
This is important because your affinity rank (6 levels in total) is going to determine if certain dialog choices are unlocked, which may lead to interesting results with said character.
So now, whenever you "level up" affinity, you will get a clear visual indicator of that happening in real time.

- Added "clock" on the main phone menu -
This one is a bit more minor, but still important.
Since the game is a "life simulator" where managing your time matters (Any activity you do consumes "time". And time is limited. So it is something you'll need to consider.)
While I already showed a "Time pop-up" system to show the player whenever time "passes", I realized that it would be handy for the player to be able to check the time whenever they want to keep track of how much time they left in a day (and make choices accordingly).
So, I added a dynamic clock on the phone's main menu that will tell you exactly what time it is.
- CONCLUSION -
Although I did not manage to get the demo done by the end of the year as I had hoped, good progress and improvements were made.
It's important to keep in mind that the demo is not some small tech demo, but the entire "introduction" chapter. Which was revamped to include a lot of kinky scenes and also showcase ALL the key features of the game (as well as serve as a tutorial for the player).
In other words, this will give a very clear idea of how the game plays and what to expect from it. And should provide a lot of fun on it's own.
(Think of it a full-on boss patch from 3072AD worth of content.)
But progress is good, and with my changes to work schedule in 2025, I expect progress for both Squeal little piggy and 3072 AD to be more steady (for No escape reality, I will work on it again after I finish both the Squeal little piggy demo and the 3072 AD: Splatter remaster).
