GAME PROGRESS REPORT - AUGUST

Hey folks,

It's time for a new game progress report.

Disclaimer: I'm posting these to be transparent on game development and show progress done. However, it goes without saying that some of the stuff you see here may be considered to be spoilers. Although I do my best to keep the big narrative points out (and believe me, there is a lot I would like to show, but that I'm leaving out for you to find and experience in game).



This month will cover progress on 3072AD and Squeal little piggy.
I will also cover the release of the next patch 3072 AD since now I'm confident enough to try to release for this month or early next month. (More on that later).

For now here is the news:



- [3072 AD] Additional sprites -

First off new additional sprites were made to support the new content
All of which are animated.

These include:

- The new sub ash storage sequence

- Ash struggling in storage

- And sprites related to the main game over sequence

- [3072 AD] More Image assets -

As I'm finally tacking the last phase (adding the game over scenes), I began making new image assets for the game over sequences. (There will be 1 main "real" game over scene and two "smaller/simpler" ones based on certain factors for you to discover.).

This month I did the main "Big" game over scene. I won't show you the entire thing, but here are little sneak peeks. (The new sprites will give you an idea of where this leads.)

- [Squeal little piggy] Updated message app -

As I continue to write events and dialog for squeal little piggy, I made a big update... I made a big rework to the phone message app.

Before the message app was essentially static, even that just showed dialog exchanges between two characters.

There wasn't much interaction, you just watched a conversation in pure text form. Not very interesting.

The new message app bring a lot of improvements:

- even if it's a phone conversation, the character you are texting with will appear on the side. This make these sequences a lot more appealing and interesting to watch.

- At key points you can actually choose your response (And yes with possible consequences)

- The text bubbles are animated with sound effects to increase immersion and make you feel like you are actually texting someone

- The dialog bubbles can scroll up to allow for more extended text sessions.

- Since findom is one of the many kinks in this game, yes... You will have to opportunity to tribute and pay a sexy gal in a text session.

- The message app conveniently shows you available balance and you will see the number decrease as you make a payment.

Note that while findom is a big part of this game, I'm not a fan of the "pay and be ignored) type of findom. The gals in this game will like to see your devotion by making financial tributes. But that will translate in them being likely to want to interact with you more (Leading to kinky interactions).

This message app play a part for the big "main three" love interests, but note that I also mentioned that you could have kinky scenes with other "side" female character in this game.

That findom messaging system will be the main way to unlock these kinky scenes with these side gals.
Depending on how you interact with them, they may start messaging you, offering you the option to "tribute" them. This may in turn lead to them offering you a "date" of sorts if you tribute them enough.

And that is why this revamped message app system was needed. It's better for the main three gals, but more importantly, that is the main system to allow you to explore other "side characters".








- Conclusion : Road to the next 3072 AD release -

The next 3072 AD patch, which includes:

- 3 new Barb mini-games (Spanking, scissoring, Breathplay)

- 3 game overs (One main game over sequence and two smaller ones)

- A LOT of new sprites, image assets and animation sequences

- New dialog with branching paths with the conclusion of the "Sub Ash" content on barb's level.


The next patch for 3072 AD Is getting close to completion. And I'm confident enough to aim for a release either at the end of this month or early next month (depending on bug fixes etc...). Beginning as early access for a few days for Tier IV as usual before being released to tier III subs.

Because of this, I'm going to postpone the OC content to next month (Raffle and this month's OC set).
(Note: Everyone in the raffle will get double the usual bonus points this month to make up for this. Essentially, it's like getting a free extra month worth of "points.")

This is a big patch. And I need the extra week to make sure the release goes smoothly. OC raffles, etc... will resume next month once the patch is released.

As for Squeal little piggy, Progress was good this month. And once I release the next big 3072 AD patch, I intend to take a break from it for 1 or 2 months to make more significant progress on Squeal little piggy, before going back to 3072 AD (Adding the Warrior ash barb route. Which will be a lot shorter than the sub ash one, since Barb was Sub ash centered content).

The plan is still to finish all of Barb's content this year (And start on the splatter rework), while also delivering a first patch for squeal little piggy this year.

Progress is good, and coming along nicely. But as you know... making a game takes time.
It's getting there!
