MIG Flash v2 Video Re-upload

Hey everyone, you may already be aware, but last week one of my videos was taken down by Nintendo. I went into detail about it in this video: https://youtu.be/WbbDQ1f1Yms

After a lot of consideration (and several requests), I have decided to re-upload the video after blurring the "offending" clip (three seconds of the Super Mario 3D World title screen). I'm going to keep it on Patreon instead of pressing my luck and posting it back on YouTube, where it could be vulnerable to another takedown and copyright strike on my channel.

I put a lot of work into the video and would like for that work to be beneficial to others, and I'm always looking for ways to thank YOU as a Patron for your support as well. So it seems like a good fit here.

Please note that it is not my intention to start uploading special videos and content to this Patreon account. Since the beginning I've only had one Patreon tier ($3) and no additional perks. That's because as a user I've never liked the idea of creators "paywalling" content that I think should be enjoyed by everyone. And let's be honest, I also don't have the time to create TWO streams of content -- Patreon and non-Patreon -- so it just makes sense to make everything available to all. I see this video as a rare exception just because this allows me to control its visibility.

I'm also posting this video as "public", so no Patreon membership is required to enjoy it.

As always, thanks for your support, and I hope this video is insightful!

Have you thought about also starting a channel on Rumble? Thank you so much by the way for all the hard work you do to get your videos out and especially thank you for your military service. I'm at 21 years in and retiring next year.

I don’t see the value in this. I would like I way to legally backup my cartridges, but this doesn’t seems like it. Maybe if I could change the active game with an App or an internal browser.

Love the work Russ. Been a huge fan of your show for over a year now! Crazy to think I never had a handheld before your show entered my life and now I have over 10 and even started collecting “weird” game boys as my girlfriend/ family call it. Thanks for all the work you put into them.

If you go to migflash (dot) com there is a "where to buy" section with links for various regions. I bought mine from migflash (dot) store.

Where is the official site to purchase this? I keep finding links online that don’t seem trust worthy asking for crypto currency etc.
