[Mini Story] Superhero for a Day

Hi Hi ✨

Sorry for the late posts, just dealing with some stuff. This story is not part of the fmg-35 universe, just a huge girl who happens to be super tall and muscular, you know, casual stuff. Hope you like it! Alt shots for tiers 3&4 in your folders.

Superhero for a Day

(A non fmg-35 univese story)

"Holy crap, did you see the size of that cosplayer?"

"I know, right? She must be like, what, seven feet tall?"

"And those muscles! How long do you think it took to make that costume?"

Sam couldn't help but smile as she overheard the whispered conversations around her. She was used to turning heads, but this was different. For once, people weren't staring because she was a freak. They were staring because she was a superhero.

Well, sort of.

"Alright, Sam, you ready for this?" Jake, the owner of Quantum Comics, asked as he adjusted his thick-rimmed glasses. He barely came up to Sam's shoulder, even with her hunched slightly to fit through the convention center doors.

"As ready as I'll ever be," Sam replied, her deep voice tinged with a mix of excitement and nervousness. "Are you sure this costume fits right? It feels a bit... snug."

Jake chuckled, patting her on her tree trunk of an arm. "Trust me, it's perfect. You look exactly like Mega Girl. The fans are going to go nuts!"

Sam nodded, taking a deep breath as they approached the Quantum Comics booth. The small setup looked almost comically tiny next to her towering frame. Posters of Mega Girl - a superheroine with the power to grow in size and strength - adorned the walls. If only they knew, Sam thought to herself.

"Ladies and gentlemen!" Jake's voice boomed through a megaphone, somehow managing to cut through the convention center chaos. "Prepare to be amazed! Quantum Comics proudly presents... MEGA GIRL!"

Sam stepped out from behind the booth, and the effect was immediate. A hush fell over the nearby crowd, followed quickly by a wave of excited chatter and the furious clicking of camera shutters.

"Oh my god, she's huge!"

"Look at those arms! How did they make them look so real?"

"I want to touch her muscles! Do you think she'd let me?"

Sam felt her cheeks flush, but she pushed down her embarrassment. This was her moment to shine. She struck a heroic pose, flexing her biceps which strained against the fabric of her costume.

"Fear not, citizens!" she boomed, deepening her voice just a touch for effect. "Mega Girl is here to protect you!"

The crowd went wild.

For the next few hours, Sam was in her element. She posed for countless photos, signed autographs (having practiced Mega Girl's signature for weeks), and even participated in a mock battle with some cosplayers dressed as villains from the Quantum Comics universe.

"Mega Girl, Mega Girl!" a small voice called out. Sam looked down to see a little girl, no more than seven or eight, staring up at her with wide eyes. "You're so big and strong! I want to be just like you when I grow up!"

Sam felt her heart melt. She knelt down, still towering over the child. "What's your name, little one?"

"Emily," the girl replied shyly.

"Well, Emily," Sam said, gently taking the girl's hand, "you can be anything you want to be. And you know what? True strength comes from in here." She pointed to Emily's heart. "Being kind, standing up for what's right - that's what makes a real superhero."

Emily's face lit up, and she threw her arms around Sam in a big hug. "Thank you, Mega Girl! You're the best!"

As the day wore on, Sam found herself enjoying the attention more and more. For once, her size wasn't a burden or a source of embarrassment. It was a superpower.

"Hey, Mega Girl!" a teenage boy called out. "How much can you bench press?"

Sam grinned. If only he knew. "Well, in the comics, Mega Girl can lift a tank. But me? I'm just a regular girl in a really good costume."

The crowd laughed, eating up her modesty.

As the convention began to wind down, Jake approached Sam, his face split by an enormous grin. "Sam, you were amazing! We've sold out of every Mega Girl comic we brought. People can't get enough!"

Sam beamed, feeling a warmth spread through her chest. "Really? That's fantastic, Jake! I'm so glad I could help."

"Help? You've done more than help. You've put Quantum Comics on the map!" Jake exclaimed. "Listen, I know this was just supposed to be a one-time thing, but... would you consider doing this again? Maybe for the whole convention circuit?"

Sam hesitated. It had been fun, but could she really keep up this charade? "I don't know, Jake. It's a lot to ask..."

"I know, I know," Jake said quickly. "But think about it. You saw how those kids looked at you. You're inspiring people, Sam. And hey, we'll pay you, of course. Quite well, actually, given how much you've boosted our sales."

Sam bit her lip, considering. It would be nice to have a job where her size was an asset for once...

"Okay," she said finally. "I'll do it. But we're going to need a bigger booth next time!"

Jake laughed, clapping his hands together. "Deal! Oh man, this is going to be great. Just wait until you see what we've got planned for SuperCon next month!"

As the last of the convention-goers filtered out, Sam made her way to the restroom to change. She peeled off the Mega Girl costume, revealing her normal clothes underneath - a stretchy tank top and leggings that still struggled to contain her muscular frame.

She caught sight of herself in the mirror and paused. For a moment, she saw herself not as Sam the freak, but as Mega Girl the hero. She flexed, watching her muscles ripple, and for once, she smiled at her reflection.

"Maybe this won't be so bad after all," she murmured to herself.

Gathering her things, Sam ducked out of the convention center, waving goodbye to Jake and the Quantum Comics team. As she approached her car - a tiny, beat-up hatchback - she couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of it all.

"Well, Mega Girl," she said to herself as she folded her large frame into the driver's seat, her knees practically touching the steering wheel, "looks like you've found your calling."

As she drove home, the streets of the city stretching out before her, Sam felt something she hadn't felt in a long time: hope. For the first time in her life, her unusual size felt like a gift rather than a curse. And even if it was just pretend, for a little while each day, she got to be a superhero.

Not a bad gig for a girl who'd spent most of her life trying to shrink into the background.

Sam grinned, cranking up the radio. Tomorrow, she'd go back to her normal life. But for now, just for a little while longer, she was Mega Girl. And Mega Girl was on top of the world.
