Steve's jaw hung open as he craned his neck to look up at Clara. His eyes traveled from her massive 24-inch biceps to her 40-inch chest, barely contained by the straining fabric of her white blouse. Clara smirked, enjoying the stunned silence that had fallen over the studio.

"What's the matter, Steve? Never seen a growing girl before?" Clara teased, her voice deeper and more resonant than ever.

Steve sputtered, trying to regain his composure. "C-Clara? Is that really you?"

"In the flesh," she replied, flexing her arm. The movement caused an audible rip as the seam of her blouse gave way slightly. "Though there's a lot more flesh than there used to be."

The entire newsroom was now staring at Clara, a mix of awe and fear on their faces. She revealed in the attention, striking a pose that showcased her 30-inch quads through the tight fabric of her skirt.

"Alright, everyone," Clara announced, her voice easily carrying across the room. "Show's over. We've got news to report, don't we?"

As if snapping out of a trance, the staff scrambled back to their positions. Steve, however, remained rooted to the spot.

"Steve, darling," Clara purred, placing a hand on his shoulder. He nearly buckled under the weight. "I think we need to have a little chat about my role here at the station."

Before Steve could respond, a loud crack echoed through the studio. Clara looked down to see that her feet had broken through the soles of her shoes, her toes now visible through the ruined leather.

"Oh, and we might need to revisit the wardrobe budget," she added with a wink.

In Steve's office, Clara struggled to fit her new frame into the guest chair. With an exasperated sigh, she simply picked up the chair and tossed it aside, choosing to stand instead. Even with Steve seated behind his desk, Clara towered over him.

"So, Steve," Clara began, crossing her arms under her chest. The motion caused another seam in her blouse to pop. "I think it's time we discussed my contract. Given my... unique perspective on the virus, I believe I should be leading our coverage."

Steve nodded mutely, still struggling to process the Amazon before him.

"Oh, and I'll need a new desk. And chair. And... well, pretty much everything," Clara continued, gesturing to her growing body. "I have a feeling I'm not done expanding just yet."

As if on cue, Clara felt a familiar warmth spread through her body. She glanced down to see her already impressive muscles swelling slightly, the fabric of her clothes growing even tighter.

"Make that definitely not done," she amended with a grin. "Now, about that contract..."

By the time Clara left Steve's office, she had secured a significant pay raise, control over virus coverage, and a promise for immediate accommodations for her size. She strode back to the newsroom, ducking to avoid hitting her head on the doorframe.

"Alright, team," she called out, her voice easily cutting through the bustle of the studio. "We've got a broadcast to prepare for. And someone find me a desk that won't crumble under these guns!"

As the staff rushed to comply, Clara couldn't help but smile. This was going to be an interesting day indeed.

As Clara surveyed the bustling newsroom, her eyes landed on Mags, the perky blonde who had taken over her spot during the initial virus coverage. Mags was staring at Clara with a mixture of awe and trepidation.

"Mags, darling," Clara called out, her voice booming across the room. "Come here for a moment, would you?"

Mags approached hesitantly, her petite 5'4" frame barely reaching Clara's waist. "Y-yes, Ms. Vidal?"

Clara chuckled, the sound rumbling deep in her chest. "Oh, honey, I think we're well past formalities now. Call me Clara." She leaned down, her massive frame casting a shadow over Mags. "I hear you did quite a job covering for me last week. Good girl."

Mags swallowed hard. "Thank you, Ms... I mean, Clara. I just did what anyone would do."

"Of course you did," Clara said, patting Mags on the head with her large hand. "Now, be a dear and fetch me the latest reports on the virus. We've got a lot of ground to cover."

As Mags scurried off, Clara felt another wave of growth ripple through her body. She grunted softly as her muscles swelled, the fabric of her blouse straining even further. A button popped off, pinging against a nearby camera lens.

"Oops," Clara smirked, not bothering to cover up. "Looks like I'm going to need some new clothes sooner rather than later."

Just then, Rick, the camera operator, approached her nervously. "Um, Clara? We might have a problem with the broadcast."

Clara raised an eyebrow. "Oh? And what might that be, Rick?"

Rick gestured to the news desk. "Well, you see... you're kind of too big for it now. And the chair... I'm not sure it'll hold your weight."

Clara laughed, the sound echoing through the studio. "Is that all? Well, we'll just have to get creative, won't we?" She strode over to the news desk, each step causing a slight tremor. "How about this?"

With a grunt, Clara lifted the entire desk over her head, her muscles bulging with the effort. The room fell silent, everyone staring in disbelief.

"See? Problem solved. I'll just hold it while I deliver the news," Clara said with a wink, setting the desk back down gently.

Steve, who had been watching from his office, rushed over. "Clara, you can't just... we need to maintain a professional appearance!"

Clara turned to him, crossing her arms over her chest. The motion caused another button to pop off her blouse. "Steve, darling, in case you haven't noticed, professionalism went out the window the moment I grew to the size of a small car. We need to adapt, and fast."

She glanced at the clock on the wall. "We've got thirty minutes until we go live. So unless you've got a magical growing news desk hidden somewhere, we're going to do this my way."

Steve opened his mouth to argue, then closed it again. He knew there was no point in arguing with Clara, especially now.

"Fine," he conceded. "But please, try to keep it... tasteful."

Clara grinned, flexing her bicep. The sleeve of her blouse finally gave up the ghost, tearing clean off. "Oh Steve, when have I ever been anything but tasteful?"

As the team scrambled to prepare for the broadcast, Clara felt another surge of growth. She gritted her teeth, feeling her bones elongate and her muscles swell. When it subsided, she realized she was now eye-level with the boom microphone.

"Well, would you look at that," she mused, reaching out to adjust the mic. "I think I've hit 6'8". Anyone want to measure?"

The makeup artist, a petite woman named Lisa, approached Clara with a tape measure. "I can do it, if you'd like," she offered timidly.

Clara nodded, spreading her arms wide. "Have at it, sweetheart. And while you're at it, maybe you can help me with my makeup. I'm not sure my old routine quite fits this new face."

As Lisa measured Clara, calling out numbers that seemed impossible for a human body, the rest of the team continued their frantic preparations. Mags returned with a stack of reports, nearly dropping them when she saw Clara's new height.

"Here are the reports you asked for, Clara," Mags said, holding them up.

Clara bent down, her face now level with Mags despite the significant height difference. "Thank you, dear. Now, let's go over these together. I want to make sure we're hitting all the right points in our coverage."

As they reviewed the reports, Clara felt her body continuing to change. Her muscles became more defined, veins starting to pop out on her forearms and biceps. Her shirt, already struggling to contain her, began to tear at the seams.

"Oh my," Clara chuckled, looking down at her expanding form. "Looks like I might be doing this broadcast in my birthday suit if this keeps up."

Steve, overhearing this, rushed over with a large tablecloth. "Here," he said, thrusting it at Clara. "Use this if you need to. We can't have you going on air... exposed."

Clara took the tablecloth, amused. "My hero," she said sarcastically. "Always thinking ahead, aren't you, Steve?"

As the clock ticked down to broadcast time, the energy in the studio reached a fever pitch. Camera operators adjusted their equipment to capture Clara's new height, the sound team scrambled to find a microphone that wouldn't be dwarfed by her massive frame, and the lighting crew worked to adjust the shadows cast by her impressive musculature.

Through it all, Clara stood tall (quite literally), a beacon of confidence amidst the chaos. She knew this broadcast would be unlike any other, and she was ready to show the world the new face of Channel 5 News.

With just minutes to go, Clara took her position behind the news desk, which now seemed comically small in comparison to her towering frame. She glanced at her reflection in a nearby monitor, taking in her transformed appearance one last time before going live.

"Alright, everyone," she called out, her voice easily carrying over the pre-broadcast bustle. "Let's show them what real news looks like in the age of the FMG-35 virus."

The red light on the camera blinked on, and Clara flashed her most dazzling smile. "Good evening, I'm Clara Vidal, and this is Channel 5 News. Tonight, we bring you an in-depth look at the virus that's changing our world... one woman at a time."

As Clara basked in the aftermath of her groundbreaking broadcast, Mags rushed over, her face flushed with excitement and a hint of concern.

"Clara, you need to see this!" Mags exclaimed, thrusting a tablet into Clara's oversized hands. "Channel 7 just went live with their evening news."

Clara's eyes narrowed as she watched the screen. There, behind the Channel 7 news desk, sat Veronica Reeves - Clara's long-time rival. But Veronica wasn't her usual petite self. The normally 5'5" anchor now appeared to be well over six feet tall, her blouse straining against newly developed muscles.

"Impossible," Clara muttered, her deep voice rumbling with annoyance. "The virus takes days to show effects. How could she have grown so quickly?"

Steve joined them, his face creased with worry. "This is bad, Clara. If Veronica's growing too, we could lose our edge."

Clara's jaw clenched, her massive muscles tensing visibly. "Like hell we will," she growled. She stood up abruptly, her 7'2" frame causing nearby staff to stumble back. "This is MY story. I'm not about to let that bottle-blonde upstart steal my thunder."

As if in response to her anger, Clara felt another wave of growth ripple through her body. Her already torn blouse split further, revealing more of her chiseled abs and expansive back. The tablecloth toga slipped, barely preserving her modesty.

"Mags," Clara barked, her voice dropping another octave. "Get me everything you can on Veronica's transformation. When she started showing symptoms, who she's been in contact with, everything."

Mags nodded frantically and scurried off. Clara turned to Steve, who seemed to shrink under her intense gaze.

"Steve, I want a team ready for an exclusive feature on the virus. We're going to blow Channel 7 out of the water." Her lips curled into a determined smirk. "And get me Mrs. Jenkins on the phone. I'm going to need a whole new wardrobe if this keeps up."

As she spoke, Clara felt her bones elongate once more. She grunted, bracing herself against the news desk as she inched up to 7'4". The desk groaned under her grip, the wood splintering slightly.

"And maybe order some reinforced furniture while you're at it," she added, releasing the desk and straightening to her new, impressive height.

Steve nodded, too stunned to speak, and hurried off to make the necessary arrangements. Clara stood alone in the center of the newsroom, acutely aware of the stares from her coworkers. She flexed experimentally, watching as her biceps swelled to a mind-boggling 28 inches.

"Alright, Veronica," Clara murmured to herself, a fierce glint in her eye. "You want to play? Let's play. But remember, I'm always going to be bigger news than you."

With that, Clara strode towards her office, her powerful legs eating up the distance in just a few steps. She had a rival to outgrow and a story to own. And Clara Vidal was not about to let anyone - or anything - stand in her way.

As she ducked through her office doorway, she felt the warmth of another growth spurt building. Clara grinned, ready to face whatever changes came next. The game was on, and she was determined to win - by any means necessary.

As the day wore on, Clara found herself in a constant battle with her environment. The reinforced chair her team had rushed over creaked ominously every time she sat down. By mid-afternoon, Clara had given up on chairs altogether, opting to stand or lean against her desk.

"Clara, honey," Mrs. Jenkins fretted, measuring tape in hand. "I can't keep up with you! You've grown another two inches since I got here."

Clara chuckled, the sound reverberating through the room. "What can I say, Mrs. Jenkins? I'm a growing girl." She flexed her arm, the motion causing the seams of her hastily-made blouse to strain. "Though I think 'growing woman' might be more accurate at this point."

Mrs. Jenkins shook her head in amazement. "Well, this 'growing woman' is going to need a whole new wardrobe every few hours at this rate. Your shoulders have broadened another inch just while I've been here!"

As if on cue, Clara felt another surge of growth. She gritted her teeth, bracing herself against her desk as her body expanded. The desk groaned under her grip, the wood splintering slightly.

"Oh my," Mrs. Jenkins gasped, watching as Clara's height ticked up to 7'6". "I don't think I have enough fabric for this..."

Clara straightened up, her head nearly brushing the ceiling. She grinned down at Mrs. Jenkins. "Looks like we'll have to get creative then, won't we?"

Throughout the afternoon, Clara faced a series of challenges. Doorways became increasingly difficult to navigate, requiring her to duck and turn sideways. The bathroom stalls were now comically small, forcing her to use the handicap stall - which was still a tight squeeze.

During a staff meeting, Clara accidentally bumped the conference table, sending papers flying and causing her coworkers to scramble out of the way. "Sorry, folks," she said sheepishly. "Still getting used to all this."

By the time the evening news rolled around, Clara had reached a staggering 7'8". The studio was in chaos trying to accommodate her new size. The news desk had been completely removed, replaced by a standing podium that barely reached Clara's waist.

As she prepared to go on air, Clara caught sight of herself in a full-length mirror. Her muscular frame was barely contained by the largest outfit Mrs. Jenkins could create. Her shoulders were broader than most doorways, her biceps larger than an average person's thighs. She looked more like a comic book superhero than a news anchor.

"You've got this, big girl," she muttered to herself, straightening her blazer.

Just before the broadcast began, Steve approached her, looking both awed and anxious. "Clara, are you sure about this? You're... well, you're enormous."

Clara smirked, placing a hand on Steve's shoulder. He buckled slightly under the weight. "That's the point, Steve. We're not just reporting the news anymore. We are the news."

As the camera rolled, Clara's commanding presence filled the screen. "Good evening, I'm Clara Vidal, and this is Channel 5 News. Tonight, we bring you an update on the FMG-35 virus, from someone experiencing its effects firsthand."

Her voice, now a full octave deeper than it had been that morning, resonated with authority. As she delivered the news, Clara could feel the eyes of the nation upon her. She knew that her transformation was far from over, but for now, she was on top of the world - quite literally.

The broadcast ended, and Clara stepped away from the podium, ducking to avoid the boom microphone. She caught Steve's eye and winked. "How's that for ratings, boss?"

Steve shook his head in disbelief. "Clara, you're... you're incredible. But what happens if you keep growing? What if you don't stop?"

Clara's expression turned serious for a moment. "Then we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. For now, let's focus on telling this story - my story - to the world."

As the studio began to wind down for the night, Clara felt the familiar warmth of another growth spurt building. She smiled to herself, wondering what new heights tomorrow would bring. One thing was certain - Clara Vidal was changing the face of news, one inch at a time.

The following day, Clara strode into the studio, ducking under doorways and carefully maneuvering her massive frame through the bustling newsroom. At nearly 7'10", she was a sight to behold, her muscular body barely contained by the largest outfit Mrs. Jenkins could create overnight.

"Good morning, everyone," Clara's deep voice boomed, causing several interns to jump. "Let's make some news, shall we?"

As the team prepared for the special live broadcast about the virus and its impact, there was an electric tension in the air. Clara could feel it, a tingling sensation that seemed to dance across her skin.

"Thirty seconds to air!" Steve called out, his voice tight with nervous energy.

Clara took her place behind the reinforced podium, adjusting the microphone to accommodate her towering height. She flashed a dazzling smile at the camera as the red light blinked on.

"Good evening, I'm Clara Vidal. Tonight, we bring you an in-depth look at the FMG-35 virus and its far-reaching effects on our society."

As Clara began her report, she felt an unusual warmth spreading through her body. It was familiar, yet different - more intense than before. She pushed through, her voice steady as she detailed the latest statistics and expert opinions.

"The virus continues to affect women across the globe, with no sign of slowing down," Clara said, her voice deepening mid-sentence. She paused, clearing her throat before continuing.

Suddenly, a wave of growth hit her like never before. Clara's eyes widened as she felt her body expanding rapidly. The buttons of her blazer strained against her swelling chest, popping off one by one.

"As we can see," Clara managed, her voice now a low rumble, "the effects can be... quite dramatic."

The studio fell silent, save for the sound of tearing fabric. Clara's clothes, already stretched to their limits, began to give way. Seams split along her broadening back, her sleeves bursting as her arms swelled with new muscle.

Despite the chaos, Clara remained focused on the camera, determined to finish her report. "We must adapt to these changes," she said, her head now brushing against the studio lights. "Both as individuals and as a society."

The podium groaned under her increasing weight, the metal bending as Clara grew taller and more muscular by the second. Her pants split along the seams, revealing her striated quads, each now thicker than a tree trunk.

"Clara!" Steve hissed from off-camera, his eyes wide with panic. But Clara ignored him, pushing through her report even as her body continued its explosive growth.

"The impact of this virus goes beyond the physical," Clara continued, her voice now so deep it seemed to vibrate through the floor. "It challenges our perceptions, our infrastructure, our very way of life."

By now, Clara's clothes were in tatters, barely preserving her modesty. The studio lights cast dramatic shadows across her impossibly muscular form, highlighting every curve and bulge of her expanding body.

"As we face this new reality," Clara said, now towering over everything in the studio, "we must remember our humanity. We are more than our size, more than our strength."

With a final surge of growth, Clara's top bursted leaving her live on TV just in her struggling pink bra.

"This has been Clara Vidal, reporting on the front lines of change. Stay tuned for further updates, and remember - in times of great transformation, it's not the size of the person that matters, but the size of their heart."

The red light blinked off, and the studio erupted into chaos. But Clara stood tall, a mountain of a woman, her presence commanding even in the midst of the pandemonium.

She looked down at her awestruck colleagues, a smile playing on her lips. "Well," she rumbled, her voice shaking the cameras, "I think we might need a bigger studio."
