More text based stories

I don't know why but I really enjoy this shorter text stories. Maybe is because they are short and to the point, maybe it's because they are a little more realistic and relatable since we use texting apps all the time. It's just a step closer to this fictional universe. In this instalment we have an exited girlfriend, a model consultation and a text before a date. A little extended variation of the last text story:

Before the Tinder Date

Tom: Hey there, stunning! Your profile pic caught my eye. Love that cheeky smile 😉

Sophie: Thanks! You're not so bad yourself, handsome. Nice arms - you hit the gym often?

Tom: Haha, I try! Gotta keep up with all you ladies these days. Speaking of which, how tall are you? Your bio says 5'6" but that can't be right anymore, can it?

Sophie: Oh god, I totally forgot to update that! 😅 Caught the virus about a month ago. Let's just say I've had a bit of a growth spurt since then.

Tom: Whoa, really? How're you holding up? Must be quite the adjustment!

Sophie: It's been... interesting, to say the least. Had to get a whole new wardrobe. And duck through doorways now 😂

Tom: I bet! So... don't keep me in suspense. How tall are we talking?

Sophie: Well, last I measured... 6'8". And still filling out in other areas, if you catch my drift 😏

Tom: Bloody hell! That's amazing. I'm only 5'10" myself. Guess you'd be the one reaching the top shelf for me now, huh?

Sophie: Haha, happy to help a short king out any time 😘 Want to see a current pic? Might as well know what you're getting into!

Tom: Absolutely! Show me the new you!

Sophie: [Sends image]

Tom: Wow... just... wow. You look incredible! Those arms could probably crush a watermelon 😍

Sophie: Haha, haven't tried that yet, but now I'm tempted! So, still interested in that coffee date?

Tom: Are you kidding? More interested than ever! Though maybe we should skip the cafe and hit the gym instead? I'd love to see you in action 💪

Sophie: It's a date! Fair warning though, you might end up as my new favourite dumbbell 😉

Tom: Promises, promises! Can't wait to meet the new you in person!
