College Party

Matt was excited to go to the opener party of the semester with his college crush, Sarah. It had taken him an enormous amount of courage to approach her in the college cafeteria, where she was eating with her friends. His heart had pounded in his chest as he walked over, trying to look as casual as possible.

"Hey, Sarah, can we talk for a minute?" he had asked, his voice just a little shaky.

Sarah had looked up, surprised, but then smiled. "Sure, Matt. What's up?"

"Uh, I was wondering if you'd like to go to the fraternity's first party of the semester with me," he had said, trying to keep his cool.

Her smile had widened. "I'd love to, Matt."

Everything seemed perfect in his life. But then the FMG-35 virus happened, and everything changed.

The virus spread rapidly, causing women worldwide to grow significantly taller and more muscular. Sarah, who had always been petite, was now one of the affected. Matt kept in contact with her through messages, but she was feeling insecure about her new body and stayed in her dorm room for an entire week.

The day before the party, Matt managed to persuade her to let him visit her dorm. However, she was still very insecure and insisted they chat through the door.

Matt stood outside her door, his phone in hand. He knocked gently. "Hey, Sarah, it's me."

"Hi, Matt," her voice came through the door, sounding insecure and shy. "I'm really nervous about this."

"I know, but I just want to see you," Matt said, trying to sound as reassuring as possible. "I don't care how you look. I like you for who you are."

"I... I don't know if I can do this," she replied, her voice trembling.

"Sarah, please," Matt said softly. "You don't have to hide from me. We’re friends first, remember?"

There was a long pause. Matt could hear her taking deep breaths on the other side of the door.

"I just feel so... different," she finally said. "I don't even recognize myself in the mirror."

Matt leaned his forehead against the door. "Sarah, you're still you. The virus changed your body, but it didn't change the person you are inside. I still want to go to the party with you."

"Matt... I don't want you to be embarrassed by me," she said quietly.

"Embarrassed?" Matt almost laughed. "Sarah, I'd be proud to go with you. You're amazing, no matter what."

Another pause, then the sound of her taking another deep breath. "Okay. But I’m still not ready to open the door. Can we just talk like this for a while?"

"Of course," Matt said, relieved she was at least talking to him. "Tell me what's been going on in your head."

Sarah took a deep breath before responding. "I've been keeping up with the news, and it's just been crazy. The whole world seems to be turned upside down because of this virus."

"Yeah, it's definitely been a lot to process," Matt agreed, feeling a weight lift off his shoulders now that they were having a conversation.

Sarah hesitated for a moment before continuing. "Did you get that email from the school administration about the temporary cancellation of classes until things are resolved? I was wondering if the party is still on."

Matt nodded. "Yeah, I got it. The party is still happening tonight, but after that, everyone is heading back home until further notice. It's like... everywhere you look, there are these Amazon women walking around campus, just like you."

"Well, I guess that's something," she said, her voice a little more steady now. "I'm glad the party's still happening. It'll be nice to see everyone before we all head our separate ways."

Matt smiled. "Yeah, definitely. And hey, we can still meet up at your dorm tomorrow, like we planned. Maybe we can grab some coffee or something."

Sarah nodded, a small smile playing at the corners of her lips. "I'd like that."

"Great," Matt said, feeling a surge of relief that she was starting to come out of her shell. "Well, I should probably get going. But I'll see you tomorrow, okay?"

"Okay," Sarah said, sounding more confident now. "Thanks for stopping by, Matt. It really means a lot to me."

"Anytime," Matt replied, feeling a warmth spread through him at her words. "Take care, Sarah."

With one last smile, Matt turned and headed back to his dorm, feeling hopeful about the future.

The next day, Matt stood outside Sarah's dorm room, feeling a mixture of anticipation and nervousness. He had been looking forward to this moment ever since they made plans to meet up again. As he waited, he could hear Sarah's muffled voice through the closed door.

"I don't know, Matt," Sarah said, her tone uncertain. "My dress doesn't fit me anymore, and I'm not sure I want to go."

Matt's heart sank at the sound of her hesitation. He hated seeing her struggle with her new reality, especially when he knew how much she had been looking forward to the party.

"Hey, it's okay," Matt said, trying to sound reassuring. "We can figure something out. Maybe we can find you a different dress, or you could wear something else. Whatever makes you feel comfortable."

There was a brief pause before Sarah responded, her voice still tinged with uncertainty. "I guess so. I just feel so awkward about all of this."

Matt's heart went out to her, and he wished there was more he could do to ease her discomfort. "I understand, Sarah. But trust me, everything will be okay. And if you ever feel overwhelmed or want to leave, we can go. It's totally up to you."

After a moment of silence, Matt heard the lock click, and the door slowly swung open. His breath caught in his throat as he took in the sight of Sarah standing before him. Despite her reservations, she looked stunning in her tight lavender mini dress, the fabric hugging her curves in all the right places. He couldn't help but admire the way she carried herself, despite her insecurities.

"Wow," Matt breathed, unable to tear his gaze away from her. "You look incredible, Sarah."

Sarah's cheeks flushed with a rosy hue at his compliment, and she averted her gaze slightly, her embarrassment evident. "Thanks, Matt. I'm sorry for all the fuss."

Matt shook his head, a reassuring smile on his lips. "No need to apologize, Sarah. You look amazing."

But Sarah couldn't shake off her insecurities. "Are you sure this dress isn't too small? I feel like it makes me look fat."

Matt's expression softened, and he gently placed a hand on her arm. "Sarah, trust me, you look incredible. And as for the size, who cares? I've seen Amazon women walking around campus in clothes that are way too small for them, or even wearing their boyfriend's clothes. Fashion isn't exactly a priority these days."

Sarah's lips curved into a small smile at his words, a sense of relief washing over her. Maybe Matt was right. Maybe it didn't matter what size her dress was, as long as she felt comfortable and confident in it.

"Thanks, Matt," she said, her voice softening with gratitude. "I needed to hear that."

Matt squeezed her arm gently, his eyes meeting hers with warmth and understanding. "Anytime, Sarah. Now, let's go have some fun at this party, okay?"

With a newfound sense of confidence, Sarah nodded, feeling grateful to have Matt by her side. Together, they headed out of the dorm room, ready to take on the night and whatever challenges it might bring.
