Status Update - Pet and Development

Hello my MODDERS and MODIFIERS!!

It's time for a status update for MODIFICATION APP 0.6.0 - Pet!!
Since last week, after the theme vote, I've been working on outlining everything and began working on the update - however this time I'm doing things a bit different, so let's go over it!!

Where can I pet?

So after planning out all the events and doing a bunch of different sketches, this is the plan for the next update.

The path will be split into 4 different MODIFICATIONS, and will begin from MindControl-2.

The pet MODIFICATION will turn Mia into dog-girl.
This will include her growing a tail, (dog) ears and getting a brand new outfit!!
Additionally, because she is a big dog-girl, this path will also have some Breast and Ass Expansion!!

This will also include

• A new minigame

• 2 Sexy Events

• 1 Mini Event

Development Changes

So, ever since update 0.1.0 (Mind Control), the structure I've followed has been very similar between updates - though how much time each of these sections takes varies a lot.

But it generally looks something like this.

After I plan everything out, I start by doing the coding updates and creating the new minigame.
Next, I'd start working on all the art - from Mia's new sprites to the actual sexy event artwork.
Then I'd write a few drafts of the script and go back to do the facial expressions and the necessary VFXs to make everything fit together nicely.
And finally we arrive at the POLISHING PHASE, where I go over everything, test it the best I can and add any additional game juice that might be missing.

However this time, I'm changing things up and trying something different.

Because of the VoicePack is now included on the base game, and after talking it out with Miera, for the next update I want to try and add not only the Vampire VA, but also the new Pet path!!

However, as you might have noticed, I write the script very late in the game's development, so it isn't possible to have everything ready on time - and this was the reason why originally the plan was to have the VA would always be 1 update behind.
But this time, I'll be trying and develop like this.

So yeah, I'm already working on the art for this update - so, for my MODIFIERS, you can expect some WIPs by the end of the week.
Once I finish the art, I'll write the script and pass it along to Miera for her to record everything.
In the meantime, I'll continue working on the VFXs, Coding and making the Minigame.

Hopefully doing it like this will allow everything to be developed together, and make the game feel a bit more consistent by having everything voice acted!!

I think that for now that's it for this status update.
I'm currently working on Mia's sprites and I really like how they're turning out.
But in the meantime, I'll go back to the dungeon and begin bulk ordering kibble.
