Differences between Paths

Hello my MODDERS and MODIFIERS!!

There were some doubts in regards to the difference between the paths, and so, this post aims to clarify what's my thought process when designing them!

Instead, this post is meant to clarify a common question I've gotten, which is regarding the two initial branches - Breast Expansion and Mind Control.

The Initial Choice

So a lot of people think that, from the Default state, the two options are divided as follows:

• Breast Expansion -> Which will branch out into other body MODIFICATIONS

• Mind Control -> Which will branch out into other mind MODIFICATIONS

Now, because of the current content in the game, this makes sense.

Currently, most paths on the BE side are body changes, while MC is currently alone on the tree - and a lot of options for this theme vote also focus on mind changes.

However, this is not how the paths are currently being planned.

How are paths designed?

So you might have heard me talk about my list of future MODIFICATIONS.
Currently this list has around 60 MODIFICATIONS, and a bunch of sexy ideas that don't really work as a unique MOD, but can be used for future scene/special ideas.

Besides this list, I also have a few diagrams where I try to - very roughly - connect the different MODs of that list, to then present the options that make sense for the theme vote.

When making these charts, my thoughts are not just splitting between "mind" or "body".

Instead, what I try to do is connect the different MODs in a way that gives some sense of progression, to gradually transform Mia, while still keeping both sides sort of balanced in quantity.

Both sides can and will have both body AND mind modifications featured on them.
This is not exclusive to either side.

Additionally, Breast Expansion will be featured on paths besides the BE branch.
The difference is that the Breast Expansion path is designed to be solely focused on BE, while other paths will be focusing on other things in addition to BE.

The same is true for Mind Control. While that path is exclusively designed around it, there will be mind changes in a lot of different MODIFICATIONS.
For example, the Bimbo path is heavily focused on mind/personality changes (while still having body/style changes).

As more paths are added, I think it will be clearer how things connect, but since we're still early in the game's development I understand it's harder to envision.

I just wanted to clarify that the paths are not set in a "rigid" sort of way, where one side needs to be only mind and the other only body.

As my self-insert said on the intro, we're dealing with "WORLD ALTERING MODIFICATIONS"!!
Anything can happen!!
