You all probably are aware of the announcement we gave at the discord, but if you're not there, here it is:
Hello Supervisors, Interns, and other patrons! I’m here with an important announcement on the state of the game, as well as a sincere apology for the delays in getting the next update out to you. Some bad news, some good news, and some better news. Bad news first. Unfortunately, there have been some internal issues between team members that were not reconcilable. Delays, bugs, and poor communication about the differing opinions on the game have led to a parting of ways for some people from GTS, including our lead programmer. We apologize for the lack of updates as this was on-going for some time. The good news: The game IS still in development! We’re going to change up the direction to better align with the new vision we have for the project as a whole, as well as start leaning on the community for insight and opinion. What this means is we’ll be turning to you, our supporters, for help guiding us to where you want to see the game go. We want your input right away on this new direction as we adjust and change the story, so there will be polls, questionnaires, and community feedback options. We want YOUR insight on the future of the game and to allow you to have influence on the story as we re-tune it. The better news: We have new team members and a new engine and will be churning out content at a more consistent rate! We recently got a new programmer on the team and have another in training. We’re still looking for a lead programmer so if you or someone you know would be interested, keep your eyes peeled for that announcement.
You can also expect more art assets and faster. In order to get more content in your hands quicker than before, we will be using sketches and animatics as placeholders in playblasts and tester models. This allows us to produce more of the game itself, and to have it playable before going back to update it into the clean, and finished, product. Once again this allows us to maximize content output, while also getting the game tested by you, the player. Supervisors and Interns need not worry, as your roles both in the server, on Patreon, and within The Company aren’t changing. Rewards will still roll out in accordance with your position and role, and you’ll have access to content before the public. Our valued playtesters will still get first shot at the game as it comes out, and your feedback is invaluable. All in all, we are very excited for this new day for GTS. We have a new engine, a new vision for the project, new ways for our community to engage and sculpt the game, new team members, and newfound hope for the future. We’ll be back with the next updates as soon as we can and will keep you satisfied in the meantime with as many WIPs and status reports as you can possibly handle. Thanks for your understanding, excitement, and support! We’ll keep you updated!

Things are going to be faster now, and we are already reworking some stuff.
For example, instead of static portraits, we decided to go for the pixel route, and make dynamic portraits of characters with different expressions, movement of mouth, eyes, etc.
Here is an example, stay tunned for more updates soon.
