Hullo!

It's been a while since I've posted art here, and that's because it's been a while since I've made 3D art. I've been working on a model commission that's taken me a lot longer than expected!

I'm making this post because a lot of people have cancelled their subscription recently, and I understand.

If you're under financial stress, do not force yourself to stay subscribed!

If you're displeased with being my patron, I'm sorry. You're welcome to leave as well, I don't want you to feel like you have to stay if you're not getting your worth out of your time here.

If you're enjoying your time here, thank you! Your financial support directly funds making art, models, and other projects for the furry community.

You help me make what I do. So to everyone, past or present supporter...

Thank you guys.

Now, let's talk the future of Tav's Furry Art.

Like many artists in our community, I've been under financial stress for the past few months. I've had to make many changes in my life to be able to continue making art for a living and it's still a developing situation.

Since my first YCH, I've been slowly losing money trying to make it as an artist. I understand. Most people can't commission me because they don't have a model, so relying on this has been tough.

Patreon, gumroad, and itchio have become a core percentage of my income, and they are the only reason I haven't yet quit being an artist.

That means you, the person reading this, are the reason I'm still here. That means a lot to me.

I don't plan on stopping or slowing down my creation of 3D art, I love making it and you love seeing it. But the problem is, I'm not earning enough income to sustain myself.

I'm continually trying new things and seeking out new openings for ways to make this work. My next idea is to make many, many more cosmetics packs for avatars. I believe I've managed to get very fast at my workflow, and it could considerably lessen the burden of paying for my living expenses.

That might not leave as much time to make art as I've done previously, and for you as a subscriber to my art, that's very important information.

It's been a bumpy ride so far for sure! But I accepted that things would be tough when I started doing this.

I felt it was important to be transparent and share this information with you. You financially support me, so it only feels right to show the same respect back and be honest about how things are going.

I hope this message finds you well, and if you've read through this then you are one of very few people. Good on you!

Here's to a Tavtastic time! (thanks imp)
