New idea: The green light seeps out of both your headsets and flows down to the ground in both your house and Crystals house, it then reforms itself into a form similar to the creature casting the light. Now there are two of these creatures in the real world hypnotizing everyone, you two (along with the several other hypnotized people) are forced to make others see the light.

I'm loving this series so much so far, honestly the drawings are just incredible! In terms of suggestions, I know a sorceress was mentioned, maybe this is one of her lower levelled minions, so we both get tranced a bit but eventually break free. Perhaps as we progress we'l encounter more and more mind controlling enemies which have stronger/different effects each time....

Try to attack the monster...but it fails, and the monster just puts us deeper under its control.

Log out or forcequit and ask/order crystal to as well, then immediately call her up

Fight, you're a higher level then Crystal is and have resistance potions, use them. Besides, you could make it into an item of "Charm Creature" or "Bend Will".
