Patreon Changes - Information

Now that I'm more or less back, I've had time to reflect upon things in regard to injecting a little more fun and motivation back into the stuff I make. It's with this I make some pretty big changes to how this patreon page operates and how it affects you lovely people.

Change #1 - This Patreon page will now pay out quarterly (Every 3-4 months)

A simple change but the biggest of the two I'm making. My reasoning for this is a change in my financial situation and I don't intend to take your generous donations beyond the need that I have. Currently I no longer need to charge you monthly and I shall not do so. Instead it will be once every three or four months.

That doesn't accumulate, just to wave off any concerns you might have. For example if you pledge 2 dollars to me currently - you won't be charged $6 every 3 months, just your original $2 every 3-4 months.

Change #2 - Hobby not a Jobby

Adding money to anything tends to make it a job which is something I already have and enjoy. Rather than pushing forward with my patreon in hopes of it becoming a primary income I'm scaling back things such as patreon and commissions to "once in a while" things. As mentioned earlier with less frequent patreon payouts and commission slots when the mood strikes rather than for the sake of taking commissions.

I hope you all understand my wish to inject some personal fun back into what I do while not short changing my fans/supporters in the process. To simply close up the patreon after all the support it has gotten would be selfish of me and it doesn't really sit well morally. I still feel like this patreon is a great place to reward those who go above and beyond and I intend to keep doing so!

The pressure this will take off me will surely come back in a big way for you all in the form of much better work output and a less stress artist behind them!
