Reviews:

Among the renowned H developers, there's another name that stood out throughout the years, but compared to the rest of them, he's still active to this day, creating and updating more content.

I've seen the burnout of devs drawing adult content day in day out. It's a tough industry that suffers from poor marketing for obvious reasons. It's also the reason why if you're a popular H creator, then you have all the goddamn reason to be, as is our case with Akabur.

Originally I planned to make this a "Circle" review about the man himself, but he does have a good share of other great projects that are worth reviewing on their own, so I'll save these for another time.

Alright, so we'll start with "Magic Shop" - Akabur's first release:

A game that feels like a concepts test field to experiment different ideas that still make sense in that setting and universe.

The story takes place in Disney's Aladdin story, where princess Jasmine is having a dispute with her father the Sultan and Aladdin.
Long story short she's unhappy and want more freedom to make her own decisions about herself. She asks Genie for help, which he happily obliges as he sets up a unique magic shop to try and fulfill the princess' desires, which quickly turned to his own...

You're given multiple choices to mix and combine using a scroll and a potion. Each combination will bring different results, accompanied with plenty of lewd and entertaining dialogues.

There's quite a bit of selection here, with some combinations bringing other universes such as Little Mermaid or Tron. It's a fun experimentation game, that most importantly than anything - full of the creator's soul poured into every option, from the most simple to elaborated one.

It's an extra joy playing someone's project that you can feel they care about, and throughout the 3 titles, I felt just that.

Moving on to "Witch Trainer":

During one of his experiments in the magic shop, Genie ended up accidentally sending himself into Hogwarts.
While trying to figure out where he was, he's quickly "welcomed" by Snape, which after some back & forth realizes that something's up and engages in battle.

Yeah, surprisingly it has a battle system. A simple one, but it's there, and it did feel a bit odd, but a welcomed addition that breaks the formula a little.

So as you keep progress through the story you'll eventually be given the task of "educating" Hermione for overstepping her boundaries with the school of magic. Such act clearly requires proper punishment in the form of obedience.
Just as "Magic Shop", the gameplay is point & click with more emphasis on Visual Novel aspect with multiple choices this time.

This title I'd say is only worth your time if you're willing to get invested in the story, because the epilogue will be a more satisfying if get more involved with the characters.

You won't get to squeeze that much of an adult content out of this one, so if that's your sole purpose I'd give it a pass. What an otherwise is a fun title, albeit a bit slow with all the clicking, but entertaining to go through purely for the interactions - both normal and lewd.

And finally, "Princess Trainer Gold Edition":

Probably Akabur's biggest project, where he put every bit of his soul into.
Funny enough, this title was actually released BEFORE Witch Trainer, but for the sake of timeline fluidity I review it last.

So our Genie makes it back to Agrabah, only this time he suffers from amnesia.
As luck would have it he comes across no less than Jaffar himself, who looks for someone to yet again "educate" the disobedient princess Jasmine in order to make her his wife, that not only she, but the people will accept. (and you gotta fund his wedding too)

You start the game with an overview of the city and its multiple event places: The market, the brothel, the tavern etc...
Not all options are available from the beginning, so you'll need to progress through the story to unlock them.

Start out by earning enough money for obedience lessons by selling fruit at the market. These lessons will increase your obedience status (yes, there's a stats menu) which will unlock more options for you to select from.

As the story goes forward, you'll notice new quests and challenges popping up as selectable options during dialogues with NPC's you've already encountered. By doing those the game will open up to even more options - unlike the previous two, with additional "princesses" to train.

While there is a good amount of H content here compared to "Witch Trainer", I still believe that you'll get the most enjoyment out of it if you take your time with each event. The dialogues are entertaining to read, and honestly provide that extra layer of feeling that you're playing a legit game and not another spank simulator.

Coming close to Magic Shop, Princess Trainer GE was certainly my top favorite, as I lost track of time going from one event to another, all while enjoying the more spicy content thrown in-between.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Whew, that was quite a bit.
But now you can understand why I didn't want to do injustice to this wonderful developer by making a shorter general post about these amazing projects, creating completely by one person with TONS of passion!

You can grab Akabur's titles for FREE on itch.io.
Magic Shop isn't available officially anywhere, so you'll have to google that one. (Providing a link might be against Patreon's TOS)
You can also support him on Patreon - It has no additional benefits however, other than your appreciation.

Another thing important to note is that there are in fact MODS for Akabur's games, which again I'll refrain from providing links, but I'm positive that with a quick google search you'll easily find them.

That's it for today!
Have an amazing week everyone!
