2023 plans (WotR, etc.)
Added 2023-04-18 14:23:25 +0000 UTCSo it occurred to me that the end of book 2 of ISM is rapidly approaching, and it's been long enough since I mentioned my plans that there's a lot of people that haven't got word.
So, at some point, I'm contractually obligated to write and release book 4 of Wake of the Ravager.
I'd like to get that done by the end of 2023, so I have a clear plate for other projects.
The issue that I'm still waffling on is whether to drop everything and smash out book 4 ASAP, or make it a side project.
I realize that by this point a large fraction of my Patrons have never read Wake of the Ravager, and dropping everything cold turkey to release chapters halfway through book four would be...inconsiderate.
I could make it a side project and release a chapter or two a month while devoting the majority of my time to another project. I don't have anyone breathing down my neck quite yet, and half of the book is already written, so I could afford to take quite a while with WotR That would be a bit harder on me, juggling series, but wouldn't leave quite so many people out in the cold.
Speaking of another project, if I were to do that, what would you guys prefer as the primary? ISM 3, Stitched Worlds 5, or something new? I've got a couple ideas on the backboiler:
Epic revenge Story
or
an actual card-based LitRPG.
I mean, I know most of you are here for ISM, so I'm fairly confident that's gonna win overwhelmingly, but I thought it would be fun to ask.
Let me know your thoughts and opinions below.

Card lit rpg is very trendy so if this is a poll that's my vote. You would probably crush an EPIC revenge story though

2023-05-15 16:53:16 +0000 UTCI vote for stitched worlds, as that is how I originally found you. Though I will read whatever you put out regardless.

2023-05-01 20:18:09 +0000 UTCI originally found you through stitched worlds on audible and have been waiting a long time for the next book. A few weeks ago I found the WotR series on audible and finished the first and this week the second. I then found out you do patreon chapters, so I subbed like 2 days ago to read more WotR and only the discovered you've been writing over stories. So I guess I'm saying WotR and stitched worlds, lots more stitched worlds.

2023-04-22 10:17:33 +0000 UTCStitched Worlds 5, but I'll read probably anything you write. Will you ever release a book for Soulmonger? I quite like it but I understand there may be issues with publishing it.

2023-04-20 18:25:42 +0000 UTCI say Smash It Out! Finishing WotR would be amazing, and a chapter a month would just kill me. And everyone who has only read ISM here go read the backlog! It's all just as good, even the stuff that kind of went awry and can't really be finished is really good. Macro is seriously the most consistently good writer in this genre I have ever read. Hands down top tier.
