Can someone fact check me?
Added 2022-08-10 22:08:54 +0000 UTC1: I knew a guy who had Tourretes (or claimed to) and the way i remember him describing it was that he could excercise a bit of control over what he did and when, but had to have some kind of outburst.
I'm also aware that he also had ADHD and speaking out of turn or blurting things might be more a symptom that, in which case, i would have to modify the Natalie's self-diagnosis.
I don't want to misrepresent a group or a condition that I know nothing about, so correct me if I'm wrong.
2: I vaguely remember reading a scientific article about light having some kind of bleed-through between energy and mass, where it would do...something spontaneously, at a quantum level.
Is there some effect like that where you could measure the amount of light in a box by measuring this spontaneous effect of photons on spacetime, and if so where can I get a better formula than E=MC? It's obviously not the right one.

2022-08-23 04:24:20 +0000 UTCIf you slow down light, like the box does, it loses energy--but it loses that energy in the form of light. See Cherenkov Radiation. If the perk makes the mirrors better than perfect reflectors--implied by the solar cell exploit--the amount of energy in the box would grow exponentially, though the impact force of the light would probably rupture containment before it got _too_ bad--especially because slow light has more momentum for its energy.

2022-08-15 12:11:22 +0000 UTC2) E=MC^2 _is_ the right equation. When something is going faster, it has more (kinetic) energy, therefore it has more mass. If the light trapped in the box had the energy of the annihilation of one gram of antimatter and 1g of normal matter (2g*c^2 = 43 kilotons TNT = 3x hiroshima), the light would make the box two grams heavier. Light has zero _rest_ mass, but has nonzero energy and therefore nonzero inertial mass and nonzero gravitational mass--which is why black holes work.
