Sense-Grafting ideas.

Offensive Grafting: Sense grafting can now be used on targets other than the caster. Unwilling targets will resist. Success and duration is determined by Intuition.

^and that's all I got. More abilities that modify the way it works, and Mutations are welcome, because the Skill is probably about to level up.

Walk a mile in their shoes Spent one bent to graft all or a subset of the available senses from one person to another (can target self.) Lasts X time. Elliot comment: Could help you with developing your social skills. Or you could find out how Ladykiller feels. You know, for science.

Compensation sensation - When a sense is grafted the remaining senses are heightened to attempt to compensate for the lack. (Ex. Daredevil-esque hearing by grafting away sight)

Ohh and you could add penaltys for incorrect grammar or inflections aka slurred speach for magical misfire

Material grafting: you can now graft material properties onto yourself. Want balls of steel? They're just a graft away. Want iron skin? Sure, but be careful - iron doesn't bend very well. You get *all* of the material's properties. Omniscient Grafting: You can choose to not lose a sense when grafting. No more stumbling around like a pirate because you grafted your vision to a stick. Biofeedback Grafting: when you graft your senses onto another living creature, you can attempt to force their body to move. Contest of Will vs Stability. Fart in a Jar: instead of grafting a sense, you can choose to block it entirely. Doing so stores up the sensory experiences. At will, you can apply the stored experiences to either yourself or someone else.

that is deliciously abuseable

Invent a new sense: perfect balance, the ability to know which way north is. Detect electromagnetic fields, communicate with ants using pheromones, heat behind the natural range of the human ear.

Synesthesia: taste color, see sound, feel flavor. Perceive things in ways that makes the subtle things obvious. Track a scent by the color of an aura or play an instrument by watching the colors it makes.

My words your pain: graft one sense to a single adjective and verb... F@#$! Hot!

Sense theft: stealing the ability to use a sense from an object, creature or person. So like, stealing the night vision of a cat, the echolocation of a bat, the ability of some birds to sense the planets magnetic field for perfect direction, plus any other funky magical or semi magical senses you can think of. I can see it stacking really well with summon abilities, like he could steal the pheromone sense of his wasps, or if he got mind rats he could hijack there hive mind ect.

The way I see it, If it spends Bent, it's strong enough to be a mental attack that must be contained and flushed out of a target's system with will and stability. Intuition saves you against more subtle manipulations that don't cost bent but also don't forcibly shift a target's mind into the desired state. Such attacks must lead the target into it naturally. An example of a mental attack that requires intuition to fight would be something that lures a target into into inattentiveness, trapping them in circular logic chains. It can't simply be brute forced like a Bent based attack, instead the user must notice they are inside a loop of circular logic and then consciously and rationally work their way out if it. Only then will they be able to notice things they were led to otherwise not notice, although the actually noticing bit is its own secondary challenge.

A day in my shoes: You can graft complex emotions onto objects and people. The more extreme the emotion the more likely the target notices and the faster it wears off. Could get really funny.

I was just curious why success and duration was deturmined by intuitio ? Shouldnt it be on will or stability as was used for the royal decree on Calvin?

Mile in My Shoes - Bind someone else's senses to your own or bind your senses to someone else. Warning: Binding your senses to targets of extremely foreign biology can cause madness.
