Detective Inspector Keeley Donnelly is an English Police Officer. She has been a cop for the last 12 years. Her father was a Police Officer, who rose up the ranks to become a Chief Superintendent. Since Keeley was a little girl, she dreamed of following in her father's footsteps. When she was 10 years old she became a Police cadet with her local constabulary. She studied hard at school and when she was 18 joined as a Probationer constable. Two years of shift work followed. She always took messy jobs and gained a high arrest rate. She quickly gained the respect of her senior officers. Upon completion of her probationary period, she applied to join the Criminal Investigations Department (CID). Her dedication and hard work saw her promoted to Detective Sergeant after two years. Four years later she was promoted to Detective Inspector and oversees the violent crime unit. Dealing with robberies, serious violent assaults, and the like.
Keeley has managed to avoid work relationships although she has had many suitors. Some of her colleagues have questioned her sexuality behind her back. She does in fact have a boyfriend. He is a paramedic in the Ambulance service. Unfortunately, the demands of duty mean that they can only meet up a few times a month.
When she does have time to herself she likes to read and run. She loves to settle down in front of the television.
