i swear i’ll make an effort for backgrounds eventually lmao
also most step-by-step are different, sometimes i don’t even have a « flat colors/no shadows » step because i like to experiment with painting everything on the same layer all at once, or i just want the shadows to be over with from the get go, etc. This is why these step by steps are always a bit inconsistant :) not every artwork has the same process for me lmao
