Two years later, i'm back!

Let me start by giving you my biggest apologies for not having been able to keep up with this plateform since COVID hit. I truly am sorry. The points illustrated in this post might give you some insight as to why it took me so long to bounce back. Either way: I apologize.

But most importantly, to you all who kept pledging even in my absence:

Everyday, you literally kept me and my loved ones afloat. Not a bit of your generosity went to waste. Without going in length about my family's lives, believe me that it is not an exaggeration to say that for two years, you have selflessly helped me and my family survive, and for that i genuinely don't know how to repay you. From the bottom of my heart and theirs, thank you. ♥

Just know that I never stopped thinking about the fact that you were so generously helping, while I was mentally and physically incapable of rewarding your kindness due to my workload and day to day issues with my loved ones and I's financial situation and health. The guilt was a constant.

(So, again, I am very sorry)

These past few years have been rough on everybody, and for me it unfortunately meant I had to cut short the webcomic project i spent years preparing for; consequentially making the previous Tiers, Goals and Rewards of this Patreon that were tied to the webcomic updates... obsolete.

I made peace with that, and am finally ready to try a new approach (and a new medium) both for my personal projects, and this wesbsite.

GOALS:

Before I get into how the Tiers and Rewards will change, let me be transparent as to what the Goals really are and where the money will go.

The purpose of this Patreon will go back to its roots, to the reason why I created it in the first place before it was tied to the webcomic:

To earn enough money to be able to slow down the pace and have a more simple exchange of goods and services (with more perks!) that benefits you and me!

THIS MONEY WILL GO TOWARDS:

• Making sure i'm healthy enough to even be able to keep working and drawing happily and stress-free.
  

• Making sure life's little "surprises" aren't a source of said (physical, mental, and financial) stress.

• Making sure my family is okay. And making sure I'm okay enough to take care of my family.

• Making sure my art supplies and materials stay up to date, making sure I could replace them if they were to break/get lost/stop working, etc.  As well as eventually getting more efficient and advanced tools (for streaming or making videos)
  (oh yeah btw, if you haven't kept up with me on social media the past 2 years, and if these illustrations weren't obvious enough... I finally have a tablet, and learned digital art ♥. As well as a bit of animation!)

IN CONCLUSION:

The Goals are to have enough money to afford a break once in a while, to keep my art supplies up to date, and to be able to pay bills, freelancing taxes (i have to give out 22% of my income every month to keep my freelancer status), rent, etc. 

To give me more time and peace of mind to keep creating more personal art, fanarts, comics, illustrations, animations, gifs, maybe videos one day and streaming equipment--- for everyone to enjoy, more often!

And i'm truly so excited to get into it!!

NEW TIERS AND REWARDS (with examples.. it's long)

$1 Tier - Tip Jar: If you feel like being super duper extra sweet, you can throw $1 at Him. He's very hungry and loves little $1 tips.
This tier has no rewards* except the knowledge it'll make me and Him very happy.

*He might be so happy in fact, that for every $10s, $20s, $30s, $40s (etc) tips given, he might make a little appearance just to say thank you :) ♥

Ps: If you'd be more comfortable with a one-off tip rather than a monthly donation to our hungry boy, you can go here ♥. Don't worry, you'll still be feeding Him!

(I already have a sock-haunting ghost mascot but this little guy came to me in a dream and now he's a part of the family.)

$2 Tier - Sketch Dumps: You will get access to some of the (old and new) sketches, simple linearts and rough drafts of the many, many, many artworks I work on every months. This can range from sketches of my D&D game with my friends, to unreleased (mostly Critical Role) fanarts, including abandoned gif ideas. And trust me, I have a LOT of those.

Examples:

I'm unbiased when i say, this would be the tier that gets you the most new and never seen before art (albeit unfinished) for the lesser cost! :)

$5 Tier - Step-by-Step: A familiar tier. You'll get to see the different stages of some of the illustrations I post on my social media. From sketches, to lineart, to colors!

$10 Tier - Polls: You'll get access to polls on what I should draw next, either from a pre-made list of ideas I already had (example: fanarts from different fandoms or different ships), or from me randomly picking one of the ideas you write down in the comments. Maybe even polls about what artworks to put in my online store (that's also being reworked)/what merch to create next? Basically, I'm at your service!

$30 Tier - Bust Lineart Commission (5 limited spots): You'll get a little bust lineart commission of one character of your choosing. It can be your original character (this includes D&D characters), a preexisting character from any media, a portrait of you or someone you know* etc.

Rules:

• Only 5 people can pledge to this Tier at once.
  
• You must understand that this commission reward is only for a bust of a character, with only lineart (no colors).
  
• You are allowed to request either my "chibi style" (ex: all the litte illustrations in this post), or my "usual style". (ex: below)
  
• You must be willing to send me a message on Patreon (not an email) after pledging, stating clearly what Tier you just pledged to, and what your request will be.
  
• You must be willing to share your email address with me. (for me to be able to send you the finished artwork, and for you to be able to send me reference pictures if there is any--- which is always a plus!)
  
• *If your request includes a real person (you or someone else you know), you must be willing to share clear and recent pictures of said person with me.
  
• You must understand that this Reward only applies for the first month of pledging. If you want to keep pledging to that Tier the next month(s), I will be very grateful, but the Reward will not stack! Be aware ♥

Sorry for the long winded post, but hopefully all the needed information for the changes to come are clear and conscise! If not:

Just to reiterate so nobody gets blindsided, I already changed the bio, but not the Tiers themselves. The changes to the Tiers will be implemented on Monday, on the 24th of October 2022. Please unpledge/re-pledge accordingly of what you want and don't want!

I'm so excited to go on this next adventure with you all.
