I like my house, so damply cozy, with that putrid and rotting smell that rises from the swamp, hidden from the rest of the world and from all those annoying adventurers who seek who knows what treasure or reward.
But I am just a poor hag who does not want to be disturbed; let me prepare my potions and my poisons, is it possible that people are so angry with me?
It is really hard the life of us hags, there are too many heroes who roam the world.
Deep in a swampy forest, in a place that is perpetually dark because of the enormous trees that populate it, between two large black oaks a hag has established her lair. A narrow wooden walkway provides access to a platform that serves as the entrance to her main room and a small warehouse, both dug into the trunks.
The fog, the swamp, the vegetation and the darkness hide this place from the sight of anyone who is not welcome
Alternate versions have differences in layout or in atmospheric and environmental conditions.
