Development Update #128
Added 2025-08-16 22:45:12 +0000 UTCSorry for the silence these past two weeks. I'm back from holiday and feeling well-rested. During my holiday a whole shitstorm ensued involving Steam and itch.io against Visa and Mastercard. You may have heard something about this.
My first game has been banned on itch.io and now the second season of Tales From The Unending Void will not be released on Steam either. The rejection is final and there are no appeals to this process, so I’m afraid this it the end of the franchise of three seasons on Steam. I’m looking at other storefronts like GOG to sell the remaining two seasons.
So all that drama has preoccupied me a little. Rest assured I've also been working on the start of Season 3 regardless. I've made an impressive dent in my list of renders still to create. There's a harem foursome (MC and three girls) that's still on the list. Considering the render variations that's going to be tougher nut to crack.
Poll results for the extra scenes are in and need to write those as well. Other than that the episode script is done.
Alorth has also received the files to create the animations. As soon as those start to trickle in for me to render I'll have a clearer idea of when I can package a release and set the beginning of Season 3 free.

And I hoped that it would stay that way. Let's hope that GOG doesn't bow to the dictates of the payment providers as well. But that is probably to be feared, driven by the activities of various do-gooders. I am all the more pleased about your announcement that you will continue to develop season three. I've reached the end of season 2 and I'm eagerly awaiting the next events! My and certainly our support is sure to be yours in any case. Thank you for your great work!
