The Two Fords (launch)

With this map I wanted to experiment: I designed the trees in two different styles:
- a more classic one with the tops of the trees seen from above;
- and one where you can see "below", with only the trunk and the shadow of the leaves.
I am curious to know which style you prefer and why, I will open a survey in a new post to ask for your opinion.
I believe that the "below" style is less beautiful but more practical.
As additional versions I inserted one without the road and another where I turned the river into a very wide road.
And once again I added the element-free version, a useful map to be customized with your favorite elements.

2020-08-05 15:08:45 +0000 UTCLooks great! Your stuff is always very fresh and vibrant. The reason to show a tree trunk is to show hard cover for combatants to take advantage of. Why not have your cake and eat it too? You could show the canopy and the trunk at the same time. Or show the canopy (or trunk) as semi-transparent. The problem with only showing the trunks, IMO, is it looks like a field of stumps, not trees. I've seen other artists simply display both.
