0.5.0 Progress Report 2

The Phone's feature set expands!

Hey everyone, just wanted to drop in a few things that I managed to get done.

Writing for 0.5.0 is about 60% complete and I'm actually much happier with how the story progressed than I expected it to.

Gigi's Faucet Repair event was fully replaced with buttons instead of a dialogue tree and that makes it a lot less annoying to play through, in my experience.

I also managed to get a bunch of improvement for the Gene Repair Minigame, including a force advance button, fixes for stock refilling, and some visual additions.

Finally, the biggest part, work on the ingame phone expanded to the contacts list. This is what will be used for viewing character profiles and seeing hints for the characters, that way if you ever feel stuck while going after a particular girl, just pop open the phone and see what it suggests!

On the technical side this one was a nightmare, and it still is. Turns out Unity's ScrollRect system for doing stuff like this is finnicky at best. If you so much look at it wrong, it ruins your whole setup, but I think I've wrangled it for now.

As well, I managed to include a good deal of improvements for the Dialogue Graph and Node system that I use to write conversations and their trees into the game. No longer will I be confused as to who's talking on a particular node without clicking the node itself to see what the inspector says hah!

Anywho, that's it for now, I actually had a lot more little things done but nothing big enough on its own to get a mention. Anyway, I'll see you in the next update!
