TW1LIGHT still retains the high-energy dance tracks and unabashedly angsty lyrics of her previous work, but this album pairs it with stronger arrangements and a microphone quality that's...marginally better. It's far from a professional studio release, but the lyrics are much easier to catch this time around.
The most interesting addition is the album's reoccurring narrative, where TW1LIGHTNEKO characterizes herself as an infectious emissary of "darknyess", shrouding daylight and appearing in the dreams of her most devoted listeners. The track "Y0UR NYU R3FLECT11ION" (a track that I enjoyed far more than I expected) has the vampire cat taking over someone's reflection and singing to them through the mirror; controlling both bodies with ease by the second chorus.
Thanks to these odd lyrics, part of her fanbase has started switching their profile pictures to her and roleplaying as dopplegangers of the ravers in certain forums. That'll probably get annoying quick, but hey, at least the album's good.

So for those of you not in the know, a while back I made an alternate form of my sona themed after 2000s-era sparklefur ravers, and it spread like wildfire amongst my artist friends, who also made other Ravesonas. This here is a little fake album cover for my friend Zeydaan and her vampire-cat DJ_TW1LIGHTNEKO!
The biggest thing about this piece is that I actually managed to finish it in one day, which is VERY NEW for me! I admit part of the benefit is the deliberately looser lineart to fit the imperfections of the artstyle, but I'm really proud I managed to get this finished.
In other news, the new job is starting off pretty steady and fast, but I got new art on the horizon! Hope you take care in the meantime!
