Just finished watching the reaction. This episode is very difficult for me to watch so I watch it in parts usually. Just wanted to point out. About Erik’s sexuality. He has testified to have experimented with a boy, but he has said he was not gay. And his confusion about his sexuality is understandable. He now has a wife and a stepdaughter btw!

I honestly can’t wait for you to watch the documentary after episode 6 Ryan Murphy kind of portrays the story in a very different way and it gets pretty inaccurate but it’s okay because you will watch the documentary but Ryan Murphy truly does need help. I would like to commend Cooper Koch for this episode he was phenomenal. Cooper has visited Erik and Lyle in prison and even though Lyle and Erik do not like the show they have both commended Cooper and his performance as Erik even. When Lyle watched episode 5 he told Cooper that he got Erik right and he did a very good job. The brothers deserve to be out and I have a strong viewpoint about killing the abuser. I don’t even think they should have went to jail I think they should have went to therapy and gotten help. The “people” they killed were not humans but monsters so I feel no sympathy for them and they just got the karma that was coming for them in my opinion but that’s a whole different story. Can’t wait for you to finish the show and watch the documentary❤️

The letter was not about escaping 😭 It was a 17 page letter of Lyle essentially pouring his feelings and worries about how he doesn’t want to talk about the abuse. He told Erik that they shouldn’t talk about it. When the letter was confiscated it was before the Oziel tapes were admissible, so they used the letter as a confession. The police told journalists that they tried to escape but after examining the letter properly they went “my bad they weren’t trying to escape”. The elaborate escape plan is Ryan Murphy’s fantasy.
