Life Update and Mini-Hiatus

I know some of the people here may not follow us on social-media sites or perhaps missed the posts we had made.

First and foremost, we want to apologize for being so quiet and not updating the comic recently. Unexpectedly, My Mom passed away on October 15th. We were living with her the past couple of years to help her keep her house when my Dad had passed in January of 2023. This was obviously an unexpected terrible shock. Needless to say, we've been scrambling to sort things together. However, she she had no will or trust, we have to make another choice given the circumstances of her estate and debts. We've decided our best move instead of a lengthy, expensive and maybe fruitless court battle would be moving out and finding a new place to live.

So yeah, our world was kind of turned upside down and we have been dealing with grief and just general responsibilities that come after someone passes like that.

So while we are trying very hard to get things back on track, we're also been having to make up money for all these surprise expenses unexpectedly. Hopefully, we can secure a new place soon and get moved in. We'll still try to get some updates out between all that where we can. I'm hoping by December maybe things will have calmed down a bit.

Thank you all so much for your continued readership and support throughout the years. It really means so much and the outpouring of help from our community has truly touched out hearts. UberQuest is far from over and we look forward to getting back to the story we love.
