Isabelle and Nathan, getting to work
Added 2024-05-17 10:00:07 +0000 UTCI must have talked about the way guns work in the whole "SCP" setting I have going on, right? They're supposed to have these little modulators at the end that affects the dimensional qualities of projectiles passing between them, allowing them to neutralize and affect paradimensional entities.
Anyway, this lead to me wondering a lot of practical things about the weapons. How would you holster these side arms? How would Nathan operate them with one arm? It's interesting and fun stuff to try and solve. But I'm also realizing I don't think this comic is going to be an action comic so a lot of these ideas might never end up being used.

2024-05-18 03:00:27 +0000 UTCFor someone with one hand, a revolver would be a more sensible choice than an automatic since a revolver doesn't require the handloading of magazines (a task than can be tricky even with two hands), the swapping out of clips, nor the racking of a slide to load a round into the chamber.
