Kinky things okay?

The full illustration is in the attachments below.

The new changes to Patreon's rules have definitely given me some agita. But like... I guess I've always been a little careful about what I post here. I'm never super explicit, either. And I think if anything, the stuff I post that's exclusive to Patreon will emphasize that the characters are up for it. I'm pretty sure this version of Cass enjoys this kinda thing by now. It makes for good training.

Still, it's not the best. I want to comply with Patreon's rules, but this means that I'm going to be more careful about how I post stuff. If anything, you'll see me posting about it more on Discord or Blue Sky, or other avenues that are not directly funded or exclusive to Patreon.

It's a fluid situation right now, and I've lost a bit of sleep over it.

Makes perfect sense. What you feel comfortable and satisfied with is what’s important

Garlic Bread

a website sounds nice but I kinda... didn't become a creator to manage my own websites. I wanted to draw stuff. Setting up and managing my own site and social media just takes away from that.

Discord and BlueSky seem like solid ideas. Is having your own website a possibility?

Clearly this is just for Cass' Bat-Training purposes. With Steph probably. Clearly.

It’s the only reason I’m on the site for the most part to support nsfw artists who had been unable to post their stuff elsewhere. And a few other artists who I just want to support.

I feel like time will only tell how strict they plan on being in regards to the new rules. Maybe play it safe for a little bit until how the Patreon mod team is responding is a little bit more understood.

I s'pose you could keep the strictly nsfw stuff in the folder, which is hosted elsewhere and I doubt Patreon's overlords have the time to look at linked folders. But yeah, we're living in "interesting" times.

Honestly, might be time to start looking at jumping ship for something like SubStar. Patreon just keeps showing that they're dead-set on eventually eliminating NSFW from the platform entirely.

Never ending cycle. Investors hate porn because they can't advertise Better Help next to it, failing to realise that half their audience is only there for the porn in the first place.

Sounds like the mistake Gumroad just pulled

Richard Limon

The rules are so stupid, they were clearly written by a vanilla Moral Guardian who wants to ban adult materials entirely but is just smart enough to realise that it would kill the platform.
