Psu's Thoughts on New Patreon Guidelines
Added 2024-03-15 21:26:59 +0000 UTCThis isn't really fun for me to type, but I needed to talk about the upcoming changes to Patreon (and other sites like Gumroad) and how that'll affect my content here. For the most part, I'm a very careful person when it comes to posting adult content. I'm generally really shy about it anyway and go out of my way to fudge it. That said, I am aware that what I do have can sometimes be in the grey area of allowed content.
Anyway, I want to say that you probably won't see my Patreon change THAT much, considering I already tend to shy away from squicky content. Also, my stuff isn't photorealistic in the slightest, so it seems like some of it could be allowed under Patreon's guidelines.
If anything, I will start adding a boilerplate: "Characters depicted are 18 years or older, consenting adults" to drawings with sexual situations. If it wasn't clear already, that is the intent.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to comment below or contact me via Patreon messages.

I thought the initial “no pronz on main” rule was a freak out way back when, this is just outright plain artificial vanilla.

2024-03-15 22:17:47 +0000 UTCProbably best to add a note to all NSFW material to make it clear that that characters are adults in the art. I mean that was already obvious, but when it comes to sites like this it's better to be safe than sorry.

2024-03-15 21:31:56 +0000 UTCmy understanding is that the new guidelines are aimed at AI generated content, not actual artists.
