I didn't find the whispering to be detrimental to the story but I can understand how some would feel that way. I'm so use to listening to audio books, and I'm familiar with this book, that I just add the inflections and tone automatically.

2021-08-29 22:16:33 +0000 UTCThe soft speaking definitely felt better for me, for both tingles and story. Itโs better for matching the tone of whatโs being read, like things seem more expressive when soft spoken instead of whispered. I really enjoyed both either way though.
