Cass Gargoyle, rough sketches
Added 2021-10-04 10:01:01 +0000 UTCJust exploring which sketch I wanted to use and turn into a finished drawing. That first one is still pretty great and maybe I could use it later. I went with the first one on the left in the second picture. I liked how coiled it was, which makes the pose more kinetic. Bristling with energy.
I was sketching these on the twitch stream, and I'll say that it's quite a different experience. On twitch, you'll have to talk to the audience. And me, looking for a subject to talk about, I tend to talk through my drawing decisions. It takes up a bit of brain power so it can be a little distracting. However, it actually forces me to take a moment and think about the decisions I'm making for the art. And more importantly, whether or not I LIKE those decisions.
