A rare Cassiopeia Quinn character appearance on my personal Patreon! Usually I don't bring them into this channel as they belong to both me and Gunwild as part of the webcomic, but for this moment I could make an exception. I always figured Maddy would make a good Sister of Battle.

I hit 40K followers on Twitter yesterday. A sort of a milestone yes, and not a totally inconsequential one. Growing an audience can feel very... abstract when you think about how it relates to your day to day life. Obviously I don't KNOW 40 thousand people and I don't think all those people are going to end up as supporters. But that's still quite a number of eyes looking at my content frequently, and possibly sharing it.

In effect it also helps me make a better living wage. I sorta... have this short hand of how to look at social media numbers. For every 1000 followers, you have 100 active followers. And every 100 active followers you have, is 1 that will pay for your content. This number is pretty loose and I bet it changes at the millions of followers scale. But in all my time around the internet, this basic powers of ten axiom remains true.

My numbers, comparing twitter following to my patreon number, is actually a fair amount higher than that. Which is great, thank you guys. And I'm hoping that by continuing to grow the audience, I can get more patreon engagement.

To that end, there are some potential stumbling blocks and hurdles. I sometimes struggle to decide what should be exclusive content and what should be shared on social media. You guys deserve exclusive content but when I wasn't sharing anything online, my social feed was stagnating. So right now I'm hoping you guys like the little extras like line art, commentary, along with the exclusive pieces too.
