Chrome Colette
Added 2021-08-30 10:01:02 +0000 UTCOh nothing too impressive today. I've got a bit of a backlog of comic work that I gotta focus on so I'm afraid some of the next few updates might just be quick sketches in the meantime.
Anyway, it's been a little bit since I drew a Mecha Colette. It's one of those things I'm pretty sure a lot of my audience isn't THAT into but I am a lot. Androids and cyborgs and fully autonomous drones or cyberized humans. I dig it. It sorta has a doll aesthetic and mentality that I enjoy.
I think what prompted this recent drawing was someone in a chat asked just how much of Colette is robot and how much is human. The truth is the answer varies a lot! It's kinda the thing about having a "just for fun" original character. I'm very loose with her canon and she becomes basically just whatever enjoyable character I feel like drawing at the time. And well this time I figured chrome plating would be nice.
Other notes. I'm planning on opening the commission sign up sheet again. Same rules as last time. Expect the sheet to go up sometime this afternoon, ahead of the 1st of September. See you then!
