Collect them all!

Frankly... I don't know what they're actually shipping out from this factory. It's probably a lot of things! Human sized things! Like uh... human sized anime figures that require really good and safe plastic packaging.

One of things people like about kink and bondage is a certain amount of humiliation and subjugation that goes with it. So being forced to pose in a kinda silly way, and stuck like that for all to see, is kiiiinda a thing for a lot of people. I dig it and this sketch might end up being rendered into a picture in the final set. But figuring out how to make the plastic clamshell packaging work is a considerable task ahead...

Always a favorite scenario to see a girl stuck amidst a bunch of near-identical dolls/androids/mannequins/etc. Really adds to the embarrassment of it all.

Make it a just-in-time modular packing outfit, which contracts bulk packaging but in short bursts. Stock arrives from where-ever then this place takes whatever and puts it in boxes, including all of the protective packaging material necessary. Once all the stock has been packed, the modular line re-configures for the next order. It can do refrigerators one day, action figures the next, then engine parts for a few hours before it spends a week slowly (relatively) packing fine glassware. This gives an in-universe explanation as to how she gets trapped/bound in so many different ways, and the increased safety risk of such a modular line also helps to explain why no other humans are present.

Ooh, agreed! I think Psu would be awesome at this! (and as long as the explanation isn't actually in the description, I'm sure most peeps would think of it like vacbedding rather than plastic heat deformation)

I like the idea of a QA android "foreman" who constantly finds her (she is, theoretically, the only human working at the factory -- darned union rules!). A human overseer who keeps finding her might eventually get exasperated and replace her, but an AI who constantly find her stuck -- and just stares at her each time with a disappointed look in their optical sensors before putting her in the queue to be released -- might be just enough of an embarrassment factor for poor May here. And if we need more, you know, there's always going to be a public tour of the facility that goes by the queue where she's stacked JUST at the most embarrassing moment, because that's what happens in these stories!

Honestly, i'd love to see some sort of vaccuforming for something like this ( https://youtu.be/YJ2khPSVYoo ). Mind you, trying something like this in real life would be super dangerous, but in the Near Future (tm), you could have some new wonder-plastic that deforms at low (safe) heat levels and then becomes super rigid when it cools, and a quick vacuum that's just enough to custom-form the sheet around a delicate object's unusual shape but still delicate enough to not damage them would fit the bill just right for these sorts of shenanigans.

"Like uh... human sized anime figures"... Let's be honest, they're making Realdolls for otakus, aren't they?

In my experience working at a factory, I have seen a lot of clear clamshells stacked, and the color it can bring is interesting; from the top down on a sizeable stack it's like looking into a glass of murky, light-grey smoke water. Though the opaque-ness lessens about 4-5 shells in before it dips in murky.

have to confess i'm starting to get curious about how she gets out of these situations. is there a human foreman that keeps stumbling upon her to let her out? a functioning qa android? does she get shipped out then have to travel back?
