Dancing the night away
Added 2021-05-12 10:00:05 +0000 UTCSo there were a lot of Cassandra Cain things in DC comics yesterday. Well... not as much as Batman but it's quite a lot relative to what we usually see with her. They were very nice comics, and it was nice to see the company put out some new work with their wider cast of characters. If you're a Cass fan, especially of the original run, definitely go out of your way to find the comic DC Presents: Festival of Heroes. It's a lot of nice stuff in there.
And I wanted to draw some Cass in return. One of the things people always ask me for (besides more adult content for her) is to draw her practicing ballet. It's quite hard to draw but I hope I got the spirit of the moment, down.
It's kinda in reference to this beautiful Christmas story written by Denny O'Neil for Cassandra and Azreal. Another comic maybe worth looking up.
Anyway, hey guys I'll be getting my second vaccine shot on Tuesday. It's been... quite a journey to get here. I hope the side effects I get are mild but it's really a crap shoot. I'll do my best to keep updating though.
