Anyway guys, I dunno if you're following my twitter but I got locked out of it. And their automated systems for unlocking it aren't working properly. So I dunno what's gonna happen with that. Not a great way to end the year, to be honest. I was rather proud of growing that audience and it helped me a lot financially. But if I gotta start back from the bottom... well alright then.

One of the drawbacks of having SO much content being uploaded to your server is that you can't effectively police all the requests manually, so it's easier to just automate it if it looks passably legit, and then sort it out manually later. And, honestly, it's not even the actual companies that do it much of the time. Sometimes even random charlatan accounts can (and will) do that. Sleazy lawyer-esque accounts saying that they are 'representing' these other big companies (which they aren't).

One I heard was Nintendo (which is... pretty typical for them really), but might be others too? It's dumb in any case and I hope it works out.
