Added 2020-08-06 10:01:01 +0000 UTCI dunno if I'll finish this sketch because nothing sounds less fun than adding lineart on all the details on Master Chief's armor and not getting paid to do it, but I think it's still a pretty cool sketch. Still... because I worry that any day I post something that doesn't have a cute girl in it, I included a sketch where I wonder "what if Halo was a girl?"
Anyway, I find Master Chief to be a surprisingly endearing character. If not a particularly interesting or unique one, I think there's something to this "sad badass" that really works for me. He's kinda a Solid Snake that doesn't talk a lot. He's got all that pain and stuff that comes with being a genetically modified child soldier that somehow saves humanity and all life in the galaxy. But he's also got this big bright green toy like armor. It's pretty neat.
That's a long way of saying I like Halo.

I'll always appreciate Halo 4 for acknowledging his child soldier backstory and making him more human through his relationship with Cortana. Also, don't be afraid to draw things other than cute girls. Not to say that their bad, just that expanding your horizons is never a bad thing.
