Added 2020-08-03 10:01:00 +0000 UTCI drew these characters from memory, which is a nice exercise now and then. I didn't want to just be copying all the official art. By doing it without checking the canon details, I'm more free to make up my own interpretation.
I actually really liked how all these drawings came out. I'm thinking I want to do more cute and squishy art, or find some way to bring that squishiness into my regular drawings. It can only help the pinups look more lively and pretty anyway.
But this is kinda in line with some psyduck drawings I'd been doing. It's a little hard for me to get out of the mindset that things that look sexy have to be drawn a certain way. Partially because I'd been drawing sexy stuff the same way for many years. But if I can bring a little bit more of a lively cartoon look into it, well that can only help me get more versatility and different body types.
