She's a Fixer Upper
Added 2020-06-19 10:00:03 +0000 UTCHaving more fun with Clip Studio's 3d mannequins. I'm going to need to remember how to use them as just inspiration and information, rather than just drawing over them. If I do the latter, it risks killing the energy of the drawing. This one came out okay though.
It's handy to be able to adjust the body types and save them as presets, so I can have a "not Colette" and a Suzie model on call at any time.

2020-06-19 18:15:32 +0000 UTCAir intake on the arm. First thing I noticed because I'm a sucker for these details. It's like looking an arm modelled around a sports car. You're helping tempt me back into art again. I'll dig out my own Intuos 4 and do some scribblings. Then when I'm confident in the basics and I can do some good stuff I'll get myself a surface pro and really push it. Cintiqs are too expensive, iPad pro doesn't have enough connections and I can't see myself getting around the file management. I don't need super-di-duuper stuff so I'm fine with a 6 or whatever. Wish me luck.
